Memberships
See they have these again this year unsurprisingly. Can't remember what they charged last year but have a vague feeling the Extra may have gone up in price and the Premium come down. Prices don't look too bad if you're going to make use of them I guess:

Re: Memberships
I bought a junior one last year and I think the price is the same. The free gifts are the same so probably won't bother. There's only so many tote bags a 14yr old boy wants

Re: Memberships
Am I reading it right? For £150 I get first dibs on home and away tickets?

Re: Memberships
With season tickets selling out, how many “walk on” or general sale tickets are available? Does anybody know?
Re: Memberships
Complete insult to season ticket holders
They don’t get it do they?
And you get a free hat that isn’t the Burnley Logo
It brings in very little money so just doesn’t make sense to continue with this rubbish

Re: Memberships
I've always found the negative comments about this scheme weird given the Clarets Foundation had priority tickets for years and no one complained.

Re: Memberships
One difference is these members get priority ahead of season ticket holders.

Re: Memberships
Would they get ticket priority over shareholders?.
Re: Memberships
But in reality it works exactly the same. A small number of tickets are held back for Foundation/Premium members. There isn't a scenario where tickets don't get to season ticket level sale because they've all been sold to Premium members.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 7:37 pmOne difference is these members get priority ahead of season ticket holders.

Re: Memberships
I’m not one to complain about things for the sake of it. But I’m not sure the difference in the two memberships other and what other benefits it offers / value other than access to tickets. Which let’s face it. Anyone Ever desperate for a ticket will get one somehow.
I don’t understand what it is or why it’s for sale.

Re: Memberships
There should be 10% reserved for walk-ons. ,So 1700ish. For away games the Membership are allocated 5% of the allocation for each gameHedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 5:29 pmWith season tickets selling out, how many “walk on” or general sale tickets are available? Does anybody know?
Re: Memberships
Up to a maximum of 5% of each allocation for away games.

Re: Memberships
Maybe it's new, but I can't see a difference between Extra and Premium apart from a hike in price. Seems strange.

Re: Memberships
There are different rules depending on who owns the club for what is allowed for some
Someone from the area = celebrate everything
Outside the area = bitch about everything

£150 = 1st window. £35 = 2nd window. Nor sure if 1st window is a few days before 2000 points window or same as 2000 points?claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 8:15 amBasically different windows for when you can buy tickets.

Re: Memberships
The premium one is for people like my brother who lives daaaan saaaaf and wants to get priority for the London/south coast tickets. In effect it works a bit like an away season ticket, as long as he gets his arse in gear for the initial priority period when the email lands.

Re: Memberships
Something for the ISA to look at, privilege through wealth.
Our German fan equivalents sort this out way better than we do.

Re: Memberships
What about the season ticket holders who give their claret number to non season ticket holders for away games?
No money for the club, at least members are paying for the privilege

Ino away games should be prioritised in a fair and equal way.dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 7:36 pmSomething for the ISA to look at, privilege through wealth.

We’ve always struggled with ‘what is fair’ but for me it needs to be something that rewards long standing fans and new fans alike. Otherwise those that were here when we less attractive don’t get rewarded and / or new fans have no chance of jumping on.
For me should break down as:
60% based on points system. More points equals higher priority.
20% prioritised for under 18s so kids have a chance to get tickets with their parents / older friends and family
20% first come first served
That way everyone has a reasonably fair chance of getting in the queue, with priority to those longstanding loyal fans.
Then the loyalty points are on a rolling 2-3 season basis.
I accumulated tonnes of points over the last 20+ years. But in the last few years have been unable to attend anywhere near as many away games as I ordinarily would. Therefore I shouldn’t still benefit from points from 10 years ago in the same way as someone who can go to away games more now should. But this system would still give me a reasonable chance all the same.
Re: Memberships
Let's not look to changing the loyalty points system again, as not matter what it is, some will be happy and some won't!CyrilEbokiPoh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 12, 2025 8:52 pmIno away games should be prioritised in a fair and equal way.

Re: Memberships
Doesn't matter to me as the current system favours me. However something thats split in a way that treats all equally a la the 60 20 20 suggestion would probably be fairer.
I have never not got a ticket I want. But the system was flawed before. The current one is probably an improvement.

Re: Memberships
It always worked in the past - all season ticket holders should be equal! But as I say a slight tweak to that to proportionally reward others who aren't would be fairest.
Points
Season Tickets
Juniors
Re: Memberships
You seem to be contradicting yourself there! If points are used, then all ST's can't be equal.CyrilEbokiPoh wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 8:25 amIt always worked in the past - all season ticket holders should be equal!
