Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Judging by the email I got they’re only selling tickets in less than half the ground.
‘ Stadium access:
Tickets for this fixture will be sold in the following areas
· Bob Lord Stand: Blocks 1-6
· Jimmy McIlroy: All Blocks
· North Stand Lower: Blocks 4-8’
Unless I’ve misunderstood!

Lazio/Roma
We play Lazio on the same day/time that Roma play Everton.
Flights from Rome will be interesting to say the least.
Recipe for disaster

Sorry if this comes through twice ... not a regular user here -- So article says Adults Season Ticket Holders: £15 but when clicking link tickets are from £24:00 but in hospitality? not showing in ticketing site, what am I doing wrong?

Also says up to 4 tickets, but season ticket holder can only get 1!

Looks like Lazio have got the end blocks in the North Stand Lower rather than the Cricket Field

Just bought two tickets. One for me and one for a “friend or family”. You can choose any seats available (not just your season ticket seat) so we’re going to sit a bit nearer the front.
Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Not sure Sarri is gonna be in charge for the game. Rumours are he's set to resign coz they can't sign any players.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
If I remember rightly the Longside was closed for Zburnley fans when we played Verona but they put their fans in the Longside upper.

I was sat in lower tier for this game. They had a few hundred above us at one point a quite a lot were making nazi salutes.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 4:24 pmIf I remember rightly the Longside was closed for Zburnley fans when we played Verona but they put their fans in the Longside upper.
I’m surprised they aren’t expecting a bigger following from Lazio given they must have a lot of support in England. Hope they’ve given it a bit more thought than Hannover!

I knew I was in the Bob Lord so assumed the Longside was closed to us but obviously it was just the upper closed to allow them in.

Wow. Genuinely thought there must have been loads of them as I remember them being very loud.
Did Luca Toni play that day. I have that in my head also. Can’t believe it’s over ten years ago.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
I’m going to ask a dumb question…
Why is it that we are able to safely police/steward away fans in the Cricketfield during ‘normal’ league games, but then seem to not be able to for pre-season matches & therefore put them in other, seemingly, less sensible locations in the ground?
Guess I’m missing something?

For Verona in 20214, I don't think we expected that many turning up.sportak-mustgo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:23 pmI’m going to ask a dumb question…

For Lazio in August, the cricket field stand is closed for operational reasons, I'm wondering if they are still carrying out work in there.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Think the assumption is (perhaps naively in lazio case) that it’s a ‘friendly’.sportak-mustgo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 9:23 pmI’m going to ask a dumb question…

I’d like to think it will pass off peacefully. And more of an intrigue about it than anything.
But there’s a very real chance it could be ‘feisty’ imo.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
I went to the European Cup Winners Cup Fonal in 1999 at Villa Park and the Lazio fans were very friendly. It was Roma who caused trouble in Liverpool. Been to the Stadio Olimpico and same.
I can’t imagine Lazio fans at a friendly in mid summer will cause lots of trouble but what do I know. German fans from a small City might feel like making a name for themselves but Romans flying into Burnley possibly wouldn’t see it the same.
The Roman salute is a Nazi salute so no doubt there could be some of that going on,
I’d judge as you find to be honest. Looking forward to this one So gia du’ore.,,

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Just ordered a ticket for my season ticket seat. System indicated that it will be a digital ticket with no delivery fee. Got an email confirming the order but how do I get the ticket? Never had digital tickets before. I assume it will be emailed to me at some point. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem, so had to use a friend's Clarets number to purchase one of the tickets.Hbclaret007 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 11:37 amAlso says up to 4 tickets, but season ticket holder can only get 1!
I have emailed the club suggesting that if they make promises in promotional material, they should ensure their IT systems can fulfil them.
I don't hold out much hope for a response.

Did you put 4 in the - + box at the top? (which for some unknown reason is always pre-populated with 2)Emclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 2:59 pmI had the same problem, so had to use a friend's Clarets number to purchase one of the tickets.

Must be another glitch in the system, as I had no problem buying 4 in one transaction.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 4:45 pmDoesn’t matter which way you do it, it would not allow you to buy more than one per Clarets number.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
I bought three in one transaction and two in another later in the day but it would not allow me to buy more than one ticket with a Clarets Number yet they said four per number. Mind you, they said the Longside upper was shut initially while selling tickets in there.
Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Just been on the site and it let me put 6 tickets in my basket! Although I didn't go through with the purchase.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
It states on the ticketing site too: "Friday 27th June, 10:00 AM 2025/26 Season Ticket Holders & BFC Premium Members (up to 4 tickets per Claret number)"
But if you try to buy more than one with a Clarets Number you get: "Unfortunately, you are attempting to purchase more tickets for a match than your membership is allowed to".

Sunderland also used them last season but have dropped them for this season for the purchase of Matchday tickets, going with SeatGeek
Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Yes, I did but as ClaretTony says, it would not allow you to buy more than one ticket per Clarets number.

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
The ticketing thing is absolute shite .
You can’t add an extra ticket for a concession because the date of birth corresponding to the main name on the account brings up an error.
Then when you set someone up on the “clarets network” then it states that the person in the network doesn’t have the correct attributes to purchase seats .
Thus trying to get you to purchase another membership, what a load of old shite that is.

Heard there is going to be a huge following from lazio including the English based fans (which includes many London based fans. West Ham have links with lazio as I believe do Espanyol).

I'm in the same boat, having to wait until tomorrow morning to purchase ours because my daughter doesn't match the correct category or something like that...yet the website said I could purchase 4 tickets...yet that didn't workHedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 10:19 amThe ticketing thing is absolute shite .

Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
Ring the ticket office and do it now , took me five minutes. Doesn’t negate the fact that the process is garbage
Re: ARTICLE: Lazio are at the Turf
To my surprise, and with apologies to the club for ever doubting them, I have had a response to my enquiry. The explanation given is as follows:Emclaret wrote: ↑Sun Jun 29, 2025 2:59 pmI had the same problem, so had to use a friend's Clarets number to purchase one of the tickets.
I have emailed the club suggesting that if they make promises in promotional material, they should ensure their IT systems can fulfil them.
I don't hold out much hope for a response.
Although each Season Ticket holder could purchase 4 tickets, only one of these could be at the Season Ticket holders reduced price. If the price for all 4 tickets were at the reduced price, this would have stopped the purchase.
I may have missed this in the email and on the website but I don't recall this information being part of the message regarding the sale of tickets for the game.
