Surely Josh values himself higher than Leicester?

The £5m is good business

The £70kpw maybe not
£70k per week is really quite low by PL standards. There are probably teams with squad players on double that!

Looks like Diouf is really close

That would be a really really exciting signing. Looks a player

Barkley's had a rather disappointing career. He's a player but not consistent and not a worker. Luton got some mileage out of him after a sabbatical in Nice. Was very surprised when he returned to Villa. Just three starts in the PL last season.
He’s featured in over 100 top flight games in last four years. So he is definitely regularly available.

I’d take him for sure.

It does. At least one premier club has made him an offer.

Looking at the video of Diouf, he looks like a better Laurent, which is exactly what we need. Talk, powerful and can drive with the ball.

He also reminds me of a much more raw Mousa Dembele, in the way he uses his body but also has real technical ability.

Would be very exciting!

If Josh is really going to Leicester then its nailed on that Dyche is going to be their new manager. ITs the only reason I can think of why he has chosen them. Leicester appear to be skint and it maybe that SD has said I would like you to sign Brownhill, who is a free agent, before I accept. Just find it strange Josh might be joining a club likely to be getting a points deduction

I don't believe in paper talk or twitter rumours. If I see strong credible links then even I'm not 100%. I can remember henri lansbury nothing is certain at this stage.

It’s pie in the sky to think that SD has made a condition of him accepting the Leicester job them signing Brownwhill.

It's a strong likelihood that we are interested. Usually smoke & fire come together. Correct me if I'm wrong but I keep using the word certain.

So the fact that both Brownhill and the club have talked about him being offered a new deal isn’t good enough for you then. Presumably you won’t believe the offer existed unless you actually see it.

I believe things to a certain degree. I don't possess crystal balls to accurately see into the future it's a skill I'm lacking. We'll see what happens & whether things become certain that haven't even happened. It's another bookmark like quicknicks posts about us & Leeds stopping up. It's pointless anyway because the only thing I can be certain of is amnesia will surface again.

The Dyche Brownhill links are odd. I don't think they had a particularly close relationship. In fact Brownhill has said as much himself.

Don’t think that’s clear yet, it’s a strange one, has someone from rue club briefed him but then you have French reporters saying it’s really close

It's been a good few years since a local reporter had any contacts at the club.

The owners want exposure from the big papers.

What's happened to the Loum signing. Gone totally silent.

Seems clear that Diouf isn’t coming, based on reading the tea leaves.

A shame but there are plenty of very good players out there like Esteve, Edwards, Hartmann etc. I do see that position as key though, and someone like Diouf.

So in the last couple of hours the same player has been close to signing and definitely not coming. Just shows how pointless it is believing social media.

If that's the case why are you persistently adamant things are certain. The history of transfers should tell you things are all over the place & nothing is signed & sealed until it actually happens.

I’m more than happy to be adamant over things that have actually happened and been reported by all parties involved. Your problem is that you seem to want to use a crystal ball to examine history, I think you may have misunderstood its use.

His job isn't to break transfers first, if he does that, he would be locked out of his contacts at the club.

His job is to check the varacity of claims others make with official club sources.

My problem is that I like to be certain myself & wait I'm from the old school whereas your method is to believe in media sources which may come good & be trustworthy. I've seen lot's of transfers fall through which appeared certain it happens. Palace were in pole position & he favoured the move but we seemed to be in a agreement & allegedly on the cusp of signing him. French sources have denied this . A scan setback on doucoure meniscus could change things. Signed sealed & delivered is my mantra.

I'm sorry that you see it as an argument I'd much prefer it as a discussion batting back counter points in a friendly manner without abuse. I can engage with people that way. I hope you are right & palace don't need him. I guess it depends on if eze moves hopefully he'll be in the bag by then.

Chris Boden said we 100% weren't signing Steven Defour and Joey Barton, so I wouldn't read too much into what local journalists are saying.

I'm sorry that you see it as an argument I'd much prefer it as a discussion batting back counter points in a friendly manner without abuse. I can engage with people that way. I hope you are right & palace don't need him. I guess it depends on if eze moves hopefully he'll be in the bag by then.
PLEASE...........shut up!
