I like it.
Although I have to say. Blue and white halves on the front is not well thought through.

Official release video.
Looks excellent.
Just the blue and white sponsor for me I’m not sure on. Also being pedantic is Pendle Burnley?
That aside I think it’s very smart. And the right shade.

Good morning troll - had you bothered to carry out your trolling to the letter you would have seen that I'd said that Preston's had gone from £60 to £70 and they are also Castore. So sorry troll, not a moan.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:11 amDon’t get this moan, what were you expecting? The price to go down from last year, standard rate for a football shirt now

On its own it looks like a generic training top with a sponsor stuck on. Will probably look better as a full kit, not sure why they never show it all together.

I have to say I quite like the kit. There's the usual bullshit waffle backstory but the shirt itself is pretty clean and tidy.
Hating the sponsor logo is given (especially in blue/white halves) but think the kit will look smart in the PL.

I did think you were referring to the fact that the PNE kit had gone up by a tenner so thought 123EABFC's gripe was a weird one.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:13 amGood morning troll - had you bothered to carry out your trolling to the letter you would have seen that I'd said that Preston's had gone from £60 to £70 and they are also Castore. Looks fresh. As mentioned above, no idea why the shirt isn’t modelled with the rest of the kit.
Again, I must be missing something with criticism of the marketing blurb - the shirt literally has a contour map of the local countryside printed on it, should they not pass comment on the inspiration behind this?

Good to see sponsorless one available too and it will be sponsorless this coming season because they are not permitted a back of shirt sponsor in the PL.

Good. If they hadn’t got a massive blue and white halves sponsor on the shirt it would have been one of the best we have had.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:21 amGood spot, they weren't on the shop site when I looked.

Conveniently left out that infant kits which include the full strip and go up to age 6-7 have been reduced from £50 to £45 not bad for a full strip.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:10 amAdult/Kids comparisons

Baby kits have also been reduced from £50 to £40 for a full strip.
Good prices considering prices elsewhere.

I'm just being a miserable ******* re: marketing blurb. There's an obsession now with every kit having to be inspired by something. I'm just waiting for this year's third kit which I believe is an all over pattern of Haffner's fresh produce (sausages, pies, bacon) inspired by the history of the club's official fanzone pie partner.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
But all design should stem from a concept. Often design can be led by function, but this is a football kit and it's function is served through choice of material and detailing - ie. stretchy, breathable, quick-drying material. So the designers focus on the aesthetics of the kit, and their brief will have been to design a kit which reflects something that is different or unique to Burnley, and in this case they have gone with the topography. It's funny, because a lot of BFC fans bang on about the unique backdrop to Turf Moor, particularly the countryside visible above the BL stand when viewed from the JHU so I would actually expect this to resonate with a lot of people.Ightenhill_Claret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:25 amI'm just being a miserable ******* re: marketing blurb. The prices are shocking.
However that’s been the case for some time now. The fact we have kept the price or even reduced it, I guess is a positive.
