Where was that taken? Saddleworth Moor?

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
I must be wrong. But it doesn’t look like Pendle at all to me that. Looks more like Heptonstall way or somewhere else over Calderdale.
But perhaps it’s a part of Pendle I’ve not been to or seen before.
Re: Home KIt 2025/26
A thing of beauty, for a change. Don’t get the gripes from some, especially on X about the sponsor being blue and white. Aren’t our colours Claret, blue and white? Is blue and white not allowed to be seen together anywhere in Burnley? Apart from the sponsor being a necessary evil, at least it’s in relevant colours.

I don’t disagree. Just halves was a bit ill thought. It’s not a big deal though.MeeActon1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:47 amA thing of beauty, for a change. Hardcastle Crags at a guess.
I've only been up on Pendle hill a few times but I recall any rocks like this.

Some of the prices are frightening now and at City you have to pay around £130 for the real thing. A lot of positives with ours, price held at last year, sponsorless available.

No
But Pendle Hill is an iconic part of the surrounding landscape, visible from the Turf, and intricately linked to Burnley - physically and socially
I think its a great shirt. But the sponsor is embarrassing

'landscape that surrounds Burnley',
'The print has been inspired by mapping and the contour lines of the surrounding hills, including Pendle Hill'
The video doesn't need to be filmed on Pendle.

Just the blue and white sponsor for me I’m not sure on. Also being pedantic is Pendle Burnley?
That aside I think it’s very smart. And the right shade.

That's not particularly surprising. The actual material cost doesn't make up much of the price and there won't be much difference in the production price between adult and kid sizes.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:10 amAdult/Kids comparisons

The crazy thing is. From the actual shirt sales, the club make a tiny profit. Around £3-5 I believe.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:53 amThey are, but until people say enough is enough and not buy them, then clubs will continue to rip them off.

Compared to other branded clothing and other premier clubs it's reasonable, I'm not comparing cost to produce Vs retail price, as you can say that about all sorts of thingsfidelcastro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:33 am60 pounds is reasonable, when it costs about a quid to make?

I think sometimes there is just a real reluctance to praise the club or provide recognition when they get things right. It’s almost as if it’s become unfashionable?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 8:59 amSome of the prices are frightening now and at City you have to pay around £130 for the real thing. I have no idea if ours is the real thing or a replica, but we’re 30% cheaper than the lowest price of City and 55% cheaper than the highest price.
Not only that, the sales and offers usually start around Black Friday, so for those not inclined to buy at full price, there’s typically good deals to be had early-ish in to the season.
They’ve also listened to FAB feedback on the sponsor colour this year, then, as you say, a sponsorless option for those averse to gambling.
I don’t see what more they could do? Sometimes you just have to say very well done in my view.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
The photos are definitely taken up Pendle however it still won't stop people having a good old moan about something
People moaning it's not a proper Claret ask yourself this, how many true Claret shirts have we had since 1977 ( when I started supporting the club) ? I'd say in that nearly 50 year period there's been around 12 with variations on the colour on all the others ( even the 4th division title one from back in the day was widely recognised as being purple and not claret)!
I really like this effort tbf

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
A lot of people whinging about colour, think in many cases it's just their perception of the colour. Have a look what colour claret really is. It is the colour of our kits from a bygone era. Do a google search of Burnley kits since they started becoming a 'fashion' thing in the 80's/90's and I reckon you'd find less than 20% are truly Claret. Suspect many aren't really hankering back to the true claret colour, more a colour they remember as being one of their favourite kits. Starts having vibes of old man shouting at the sky.

It’s a decent kit with a nice retro feel and anyone surprised at the price must have been living under a roach for the past few years. Surprising how exercised some people get about this stuff….feels like they just love a moan.
