Re: KIT LEAK
Looks better with the sponsor on.
Re: Home KIt 2025/26
I think it would look better if the crest on the badge was light blue. Would tie in with rest of the shirt. Not a fan of the monochrome badge. Otherwise its OK.

I don’t like it. Those hideous monochrome badges or messing with the badge colour isn’t right.
I’m not paying 60 quid to wear a blue and white sponsor.

The same tone of blue and white that are on the shorts, trim of the shirt and on the socks?gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:13 amI don’t like it. Those hideous monochrome badges or messing with the badge colour isn’t right.

It’s a gallant effort (all three of them) but I don’t think you’re going to get anyone to bite on the sponsor.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:13 amI don’t like it. Those hideous monochrome badges or messing with the badge colour isn’t right.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
A 7/10 from me - not too garish to wear away from matches and quite clean.
But I still refuse to buy a shirt with a betting sponsor on it given the lives that industry ruins, particularly online. Would I buy the sponsorless? Maybe.
Having grown up on Pendle Hill I love the Nick O Pendle location they chose around the corner from the old ski slope. Looks like that rocky dip near where cars always park at the top.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Not after anyone biting. I’m not a fan, I don’t like the blue and white halved sponsor, and to me a Burnley shirt should have blue sleeves, and the correct badge. So based on that, I’ll save 60 quid.

Reminds me a little bit of the 2015-16 Oak furnitureland shirt
And the 2007-08 Hollands Pie's one
As for the kit, it looks ok, bit bland, but glad the sponsor isn't gold anymore

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Completely agree.. I quite like it, will I buy it? Maybe, maybe not till I see it in the flesh but people moaning about it, colour, sleeves not blue, sponsor colour blah blah blah is moaning for the sake of it. If you don’t like it don’t buy it.. simples.. I don’t support the shirt configuration I support the team/ club… one things for sure it’s unique to Burnley and it doesn’t look like a villa or hammers shirtStalbansclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 9:51 amIt’s a decent kit with a nice retro feel and anyone surprised at the price must have been living under a roach for the past few years. Surprising how exercised some people get about this stuff….feels like they just love a moan.

Putting aside the discussion on the rights and wrongs of a betting sponsor I think the way the sponsor logo looks on the kit is the best for years. No clashing colours and a simple logo.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Absolutely agree.
I am one that would never buy a sponsorless kit. To me they just look unfinished and too plain/boring.
I would not buy a kit at all if I had a major issue with the sponsor firm or I thought the look of the sponsor ruined it (like a big red “spud bros” sponsor on a white and blue kit).
The colours of this logo look great though in my view, so setting aside the gambling aspect, it looks brilliant.
Just my opinion, but I think we’ll see far more purchased with the sponsor this time than we did last season.

Agree with your point, very original and will look unique to us.Cornwallclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:32 amCompletely agree.. I quite like it, will I buy it? I imagine most of the fans proclaiming that they won’t buy it would not have bought it regardless of the design, but irrespective shirt designs will always be personal tastes and some will like it and buy it and others won’t. No big deal, it’s the same every season.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Like the collar and simplicity of the design. As always better to see it in the flesh first especially with the way we have changed the colour of the shirt recently.
The sponsor is what it is - not sure many people “like” it as such. It’s just become a necessary evil which clubs like Burnley cannot real afford to take a stand on individually. Even if there was some collective decision to ban betting companies (which I would support) a club like Burnley would lose out relatively as we have so little other non match day or tv income compared to most other clubs so we fall even further behind financially.
As for the backdrop on the shirts personally I’m not sure what all this adds to it. I get the whole concept, design brief, etc process but that does not mean I think it is needed.
Still think that we are missing a trick every season with the new shirts. There seems so little difference from season to season and there’s no real attempt to design something bold or iconic. Trying to recreate the V shirt for example or even the Man City / Palace diagonal stripe across the shirt for example. Even some of the football shirts that fans thought were horrendous at the time end up being iconic and at the very least remembered. Not sure this seasons shirt is going to be one of those.

The blue and white sponsor bit worried me a little but it’s not as if it’s royal blue or that we’ve never had white and blue away kits. There will be people moaning about it who on the other hand will going mad for the retro white and blue adidas away kit on sale at the club shop.

I disagree. Think the whole kit is different. We also had the classic football shirts top which was great. And some fairly unique away shirts in recent times.Big Vinny K wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 10:57 am

Last two home kits have been forgettable. But this and the classic one were great.

Re: KIT LEAK
Starbucks better?
My point is the unsponsored shirt looks a bit “meh”. It looks like a burgundy t shirt with a bit of blue trim. Swap out the silly monochrome badge for the colour one and it may improve it, but I think anything that draws the eye would help.

Have to confess I didn't even pick up on the colour of the sponsor in terms of relating it to them down the road.burnmark wrote: ↑Wed Jul 02, 2025 11:13 amThe blue and white sponsor bit worried me a little but it’s not as if it’s royal blue or that we’ve never had white and blue away kits. Strange now that a shirt without a sponsor looks strange yet there were complaints when clubs started sticking them on back in the 1980s.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
It’s the first thing I thought when I saw it.
Luckily it’s 96 not 95.
96 being the season that Batty and Le Saux had a scrap on the pitch and 96 being the year they lost shearer.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
I think it is a great kit. Having spent many happy memories walking with my dad around Pendle I love the contoured concept.

I think it’s absolutely banging
Can’t believe anyone has tried to link the colours of the sponsor to another club
It’s absolutely the best colour to blend it and nothing remotely similar to the tone of said club
Ridiculous reaching there

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Tried to get the shirt online. £15 delivery to Ireland so I was going to have it delivered to the eldest. Changed delivery address to UK mainland but it then took me to pay(paypal or google pay), I prefer credit card. As I hadn’t had the opportunity to enter her address I left it. Our kid will get me one on his account.
I know it will be me that’s screwed up but just a heads up for others.

The power of light.
The new monstrosity of a monochrome badge is the correct colour, pretty much the only thing that is right about it though.

Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Nice classy design, without the sponsor it'll pass as a regular everyday summer tee shirt.
Re: Home KIt 2025/26
Just bought a couple for the kids. I can confirm, if it hasn’t already above, that it is Purple Potion and Tropical Breeze again. The photos online do look darker than the actual thing.
Re: Home KIt 2025/26
If you ignore the fact it's the wrong colour, has the wrong badge and has the blue and white half and half logo of an illegal betting company on the front... then yeah, it's okay.
