I thought he looked quick and able to get up and down in a way I don’t think Roberts could. I may be wrong though, would have to look at him more.

It seems a strange buy under Parker if he didn’t fancy him though.

Possibly, although I think there’s a good player in there too. While we’re a yo-yo club I wouldn’t be too hasty on parting ways.

Mentioned Cajuste as one my potential transfers t the end of last season. He was good last season for Ipswich, it's a abit of a no brainer if he's available. There is evidence he can handle the PL which there isn't for Diouf so I'd go for him just based on that.

We desperately need a PL quality centre mid.

Perhaps not, but I think it's very telling that he didn't get another look in after giving away that penalty against Sunderland.

He did well in the cup against Reading, but for me, he doesn't look capable of performing to the level we require.

Add to that, he was woeful at Preston (but saying that, most of the team was that day)

As you and others have said, we've not seen anything that shows hes remotely up to standard needed this year and I think we see him loaned out this season there are others more capable of being 3rd choice RB if needed

I was thinking more about him joining a team in January during a promotion season and then his career at Burnley not really taking off afterwards. Still early days though with Sonne, as he's not really had a run.

Ekdal has just recently been playing for Sweden. So must be fit and can't be that bad.

I agree given that promotion must surely have factored into the add ons as it intrinsically added to the value & benefited the club. it's difficult to see how such an important contributory event wouldn't be admissable. I'm not sure how we are shaving a million from £15m & coming up with £14m most of the reports I've read it's £15m upfront.

I am assuming that Tuanzebe is RCB either in a 3 or a 2 with Roberts first choice RB and Sonne second. I expect Sambo to go on loan, maybe Sonne too. But perhaps Parker fancies Sonne in a RWB role? Maybe he’s ahead of Roberts for that role given his athleticism.

Don't know much about Tuanzabe last season but where did he play for Ipswich? I think they'll be a lot of tactical changing game to game this season with Parker. He thinks everything through and as we saw in the FA cup is willing to change so can see certain games where he'll play Tuanzabe right back for added height at the back and games where he's used at RCB in a 3 for extra protection then other games at home against bottom half teams we might see Roberts in a back 4 so we can attack a bit more

A suggestion for a potential signing. Luca Jovic. A free agent after being released by Milan. He is still only 27 and showed promise early on but his career has stalled in recent years. Certainly knows where the back of the net is.

I’m sure I read that somewhere, from what I remember Ekdal got injured on international duty last summer so he was never going to get into the team. If he can stay healthy this pre season hopefully Parker sees enough.

Worrall was bought to be starting until his foot injury and CJ and Steve’s great form kept him as back up.

Ekdal's stock remains high on here.

17 appearances for the club in 2.5 seasons.

9 in an dreadful standard championship and 8 in the PL. Mysterious disappeared after 9 matches in championship and didn't have the fitness to be able to play in the PL.

Perhaps Edkal's popularity is reason why Worrall is unpopular on here.
