Loyalty points

Post by Cabbage » Mon Jul 07, 2025 6:38 pm

Can someone tell me what the upper tier is for loyalty points when buying away tickets. I have 2770 and my son 2350. Just trying to manage expectations as to getting tickets this forthcoming season. Thanks.

Varies depending on game

This is example they used last season

Away Ticket Priority

Below is an example* of away ticket sales and what it will look like with the Advantage Scheme:

Friday - Platinum priority (limited to 10% of overall allocation)

Monday - Season Ticket Holders with 2,000 loyalty points

Tuesday - Season Ticket Holders with 1,200 loyalty points

Wednesday - Season Ticket Holders with 800 loyalty points

Thursday - Season Ticket Holders & Gold priority

Friday - General Sale

Just remember that you will lose the points from 2019/20 very shortly.

Thanks wilks_bfc. What is platinum priority? Is that the membership scheme?

Same points for buying a ticket in the upper tier as it is for buying one in the lower tier.

A proper fan would know that…

Yep

Somehow somebody paying £150 up front is more worthy than somebody paying £500+ over 12 :?

Apart from the odd game like Everton i don't see much trouble getting away tickets this season. If you've both got over 2 thousand points you'll be fine.

Unfortunately his son will probably lose at least 350 points, taking him into the 2nd priority group.

But will depend on what allocations we decide to take.

They are going to have to start considering increasing it above 2,000 given you get more points now for away games.

Surely for Everton we take the biggest possible allocation? Would expect us to sell as many as we could.

But will probably still be only 3000.

Probably will depend on whether or not we take maximum allocations. I'm guessing that we'll take the full allocation for Spurs and then the Club will use that as a guage for taking future allocations.

Thanks for the reply. Does this mean they’ve not adjusted the loyalty points yet?

No, they haven't. But presumably they will have to do before Spurs tickets go on sale.

All very odd. You’d think they’d deal with that fairly prompt. I’ll keep my eye on our points and see what happens. My son was just under 2000 points last season so was hoping this year he’d tip over into the upper bracket.(sorry Bobinho, not upper tier). Could be they give with one hand and take with the other! As you say, let’s see what happens. I hope for both Spurs and Everton we take the full allocation.

Talking of loyalty points. I thought you could use the credit (money) that you accumulate towards a purchase in the club shop but apparently it’s only for home and away tickets plus towards your season ticket if your paying outright for it.

I think you are getting confused with loyalty points and TeamCard points.

Loyalty points have no monetary value but place you in positions for away ticket purchases.

TeamCard points you earn when you purchase in the club shop and can be used against future purchases.

Yes I’m getting confused. I think I’ve got it now. I have a credit balance (below) of £79.04 ( my wife has the same amount) so with that amount we can put that towards future tickets/ season ticket outright payment etc but not towards the purchase of goods (clothing etc) in the club shop. Thank you Tony.

2140 LOYALTY POINTS
£79.04 BALANCE

Just seen on the article for the Home tickets, ST holders get 5 points for each game that they attend or put on the ticket exchange.

Am I reading that right?

Loyalty Points

Loyalty points are on a rolling 5-year system.

Points for 2025/26 are based on matches from 2020/21 to 2024/25.

Points from 2019/20 will be removed by Monday 14th July.

The points allocation is as follows:

Season Ticket purchase - 350 points
Away match tickets - 20 points per match
Home match attendance (Season Ticket holders only) - 5 points per game attended
Missed a game? Earn 5 points if you list your seat via the Ticket Exchange or Official Ticket Forwarding via your Ticketing account. For more information visit our Ticket Forwarding Help Page.
Buying a single home ticket no longer earns points.

Points are added 48 hours after the home fixture.

'Home match attendance (Season Ticket holders only) - 5 points per game attended'

This seems a strange one!

Is it me or do others find the BFC website really difficult to navigate. If I ever find what I’m looking for which is very rare it’s only through luck, it’s dreadful.

Has anyone not yet had their points total adjusted by removing points from 2019/20?

Log on to this:
