Pancreatic Cancer

Post by Roosterbooster » Sat Jul 12, 2025 8:01 am

Mods, feel free to delete if not appropriate

5 years ago, my mother in law passed away after battling pancreatic cancer for 2 years. She is sorely missed. Today, my friends and I are cycling 200 miles to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

It's a deadly disease, more common than people think, and usually presents very late, with limited treatment options. Funded research is desperately needed to try and address this.

All the best with it, sorry to hear about your mum in law - it's a truly terrible disease.

Well done. I've done the Leeds and Liverpool canal over 2 days twice. The second time in horrendous conditions, with the wind and rain in our faces every inch of the bloody way, so I know how tough these challenges can be.
Well done again and a donation made to a very worthy cause.
