Some talk of Koleosho going to Espanyol. Be interesting if it is more than a loan deal. Would it be a case of paying Paul by robbing Peter or vice versa?
Isn’t that where we got him from?

I suppose it’s how far up or down the pecking list Parker sees him. This time last year we thought he’d be one of the main men, not so sure now.

Hahaha I think this is actually the way forward.
Brilliant

Could you do that each evening around 9pm and I’ll come back then for the summary?

I would expect our main reasons for doing these deals will be one of two options:
1. Over inflate the price and sell him to Espanyol, thereby bettering PSR position
2. Send him on loan to put him in the shop window in Europe to increase his price, then sell him

Shame as I thought Koleosho had promise in the PL.

May not be true talk but he can play for us and not be part of the 25 as he is still only 20. Huge huge potential and hopefully not one for sale given the contract we have with him until 2029.Think he should stay with us this season.

Switzerland are pretty good these days
Probably play more Nations below their standard than above
Playing for Arsenal against Burnley isn’t the same as playing for Burnley against Arsenal
No but like I said.

Playing for Switzerland Vs France is exactly that.

Koleosho back to Espanyol seems the obvious one given his past links there. I wouldn't be against sending him there on loan. I think it's probably unlikely he's going to see much action this season, and a loan spell would hopefully give him some consistent playing time. With a bit of luck he would come back a more mature player and/or see his value rise for a sale...

I put this in the Espanyol thread but it works here - given the discussion today

It is worth noting that approval for this deal by both RASTAR shareholders and the Spanish football authorities has still to happen and may not do so until after the transfer window closes according to the reports that have been shared through this thread.

Espanyol would be a very good move for Koleosho. Although I hoped he would feature for us. His pace and direct running is what we would need as an outlet this year

Theres about 10 or so players that need selling/loaning out before Luca. We will be punching above our weight in the PL and having exciting players like him in our side gives us a chance. I was having second doubts about him but then saw him at QPR(last game but one) after a lengthy absence in the Championship and he was back to his best. Maybe reconsider in the next window about loaning him to Espanyol

If Koleosho were being linked with a different Spanish side, we could safely assume that the club would only sanction a deal if it suited us, i.e. the transfer fee met our expectations, the payment terms were acceptable, etc, etc. Because it's Espanyol, do Burnley's requirements reduce somewhat ?

Sunderland just splashed out £17.5m bringing in French forward Lauriente who had played under the Sunderland manager previously.

I’m sure sp will be compiling lists this week for ‘keep, sell or loan’ .
