Great find. Mine has also changed. Probably fairly mirrored from the other side but one row back too.

There are a few different websites with views uploaded, but I had a look on here. Doesn’t have every seat mind, so a bit of luck whether yours is on here.

Sorry, I meant how do you find out where your new seat is in the CFS. Can see anything on the clarets website.

I have just tried to get back on to the page with the details and now can’t seem to access it. Anyone else with the same issue? I’ll admit I’m not that familiar with the e-ticket website, although I guess we will all have to learn if we want to attend.

Luckily i took a screenshot to send to my brother before I came off it. Perhaps that means they are working their way through it now?

My ticket wallet says 'currently no tickets to display' despite having renewed for the CFS this season. I looked a couple of weeks ago and I had my usual seat showing in there for Sunderland, so I'm none the wiser.

someone on this forum probably works in the club and has let them know that supporters are finding out using that facility - so they probably turned it off for all

I thought this too. Seats could be moved around plenty of times before they decide on a final spot for everyone.

Interesting new ticket selection site which gives a good view of the CFS from a top down perspective. I am sure this will change though once the club have switched fans. But you can see the difference in offset as described previously.

The old away end looks to have more seats than the other side. Is that correct? Also, the new plastic seats will slightly increase the capacity.

Isnt the proportion of safe standing also being increased ?

Leaves just the Bob Lord stand with our nice old fashioned wooden seats. They get laughed at but they are far better in winter!

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but you never know with the club at present..... but I assume those who were sat in block WS21 will be seated in VS20, those in WS22 will be in VS19 etc?

I could be wrong but I think people were saying earlier on this thread that WS21 for example ended up in VS17

Unfortunately that’s an over simplification of the situation. For me the move taking that logic would mean I’ll be stood on the stairs in VS12 as my seat in front row of WS13

Thats a good point that. Also makes the mirroring theory impossible

I thought I'd read the club had said they were going to "mirror" the seats, which would be logical and surely in most cases an acceptable way of doing it. If I'm being moved from WS13 with a great view, out to block VS9, then that's me done.

You would think so, with people in the "radgy" section nearest the away fans remaining so

If that was the case then WS13 should be moved to VS12, but that cant happen because there isnt enough seats because of the exit on that plan so I dont know what they will do there

I think my reading of everyones posts above, its not the centre blocks that will be the problem, its which side the people in the end blocks will end up

That problem will be the same whether they mirror or shunt. So surely the logical approach would be mirror so those at the end of the stand swap but remain at the end, and those in the middle remain in the middle. So miminal people are affected.

Agreed, but those in WS13 should be put in VS12 if there is a seat to mirror to, i.e. the back half of rows of that block.

Just looking at that plan, do you think its possible that they move the walkway over and then VS12, VS4 & VS20 become slightly bigger. they can fit more plastic seats in the away end so shouldnt need it all unless it makes a mess of the 10% away rule

That would be the common sense solution to all this! By looks of it earlier they had just basically picked up the entire home bit and plunked them into the old away section so those who were closer to the away fans would now be furthest away.

Common sense and BFC don't seem to go hand in hand.
Maybe they took the ticket site down you saw earlier because they realized what an almighty mess they would cause by merely shuntng.
Time will tell, but I'm not moving from block WS13 to VS9. I'll have a refund.

I've just mirrored the home section and overlaid on the image below which is a before and after. It seems pretty clear that the away section is currently larger than the home section so this swap should create somewhere in the region of 150-200 seats - that is before any increase that may be made by changing wooden seats to plastic. I presume the disabled area at the bottom of the current away area will be relocated which would also increase numbers further.

The fairest, feasible way to do this would be to mirror the existing seating plan along the central gangway and leave the surplus of seats adjacent to the Bob Lord Stand for anyone who has been split from their party by a stairway or entry/exit point etc. for a seat swap. A fairer way would be to move groups across the stairway into the next block to a group of seats together but I don't see this being feasible because a.) most groups will not have one ticket purchaser so the club won't know who attends matches together, and b.) this will create separations across the rest of the row. This would also leave more spare single seats which I'm sure the club are keen to avoid.

Knowing the CFS regulars, an odd displaced fan seated away from a usual group will end up in a Frog chorus solution.

They'll all stand together..... ;)

Are we sure there’s a queue of people waiting to buy season tickets at Burnley? Giving the club some minor credit, surely even they aren’t dumb enough to sell match day tickets in there and risk away fans getting in.

You knew it would be chaos. And I’ve just been into the ticketing system and seen that purchase history has disappeared again.

Said Longside lower block 1 in the official statement didn't they? So basically a crap view and get soaked when it rains.

credit where its due - if they're thick enough to dream up the reason to do a swap in the first place I think they're thick enough to mess it up completely

So far they are demonstrating why so many fans get frustrated with the club about ticketing issues and they are acting like they dont care, but argue that they have an "informed" opinion about fans from about 20 people who they hand selected to be on the FAB - I applied the be on the FAB, but I obviously didn't tick the "yes boss" option.

Do we think that have been the intention all along? The ones with seats next to the away end before are traditionally a bit more lairy so instead they stick them next to the Bob Lorders? The flip side is the ones who aren’t bothered about making w*nker gestures at the away end for 90 minutes are now the ones plonked there?

Sweeping generalisations I know, but you get the idea.

Makes for more a “family” atmosphere

The seating plan above will bear no resemblance to where the seats are now. It looks like all the seats in both ends have been taken out and reconfigured.

Could the club/cricket club create an entrance in the wall between the cricket club and entrance to away CF end turnstiles? A big double gate size.
The away fans wouldn’t need to use the lane anymore, using the cricket club facilities and entrance.

Would make the best of a bad situation.

I have said further up the thread, I am one that could be badly affected. It could work out OK maybe not. I still have not be told officially by the club. I have had two e mails today asking me to buy the new away kit and buy a Sun'land ticket. The FAB should have been all over this, I may want to switch seats but it's only rumour that I will have a week after the Sun'land game. Nothing from the club. I do not know where my seat/standing space is yet. It's a shocker, bring back Lee Hoos

So, to summarise, taking the above points and what Tony wrote he was told earlier in the thread, it seems 'shunting' is the brainwave and those behind the goal are now behind the corner flag and those behind the corner flag are now behind the goal? Even before we begin to consider the lopsided stand?

Yep, that will win hearts and minds, enhancing the "fan experience"

(can't believe any official would be so dim, so don't believe it myself)

It’s what someone has told me but I’ve nothing to confirm it. But I think the whole thing and with no consultation is appalling.

An infamous HMRC head described her staff as a 'A bunch of Eeyores- they'll all complain, then just get on with it anyway'.

The Board of BFC taking this position also, I would suggest.

You’d think they would mirror from the middle so those that were sat in the first seats to the left of the away supporters would now be sat in the first seats to the right of the away supporters and work their way along

But knowing how our club sometimes works, it will be randomly generated

For all we know they might have been, but the minutes are that poor we’ll never know.

So just to give some reassurance and not speculation. I clocked the ticket update on my account early today. Before they took eveyones visibility of tickets away. My ticket was mirrored from 24 to 17. Not only mine but the people next to us were also mirrored into the seats next to ours. I’ve even got the screenshot.

Said Longside lower block 1 in the official statement didn't they? So basically a crap view and get soaked when it rains.
Plus they’ll shut that block when it starts kicking off in that corner

In the faq,s sent with today's email from the TO. It does say you have the Sunderland game to see if are ok with your seat. If you are not ok you have the option of moving to North Stand lower block 1 or a refund. Those options finish on 1st sept.
Today's email? Is this about the seat swap? I have had my seat in the CFS for years now. No email. I did have one about 'bringing the noise' for next season though.

It just didn't say where they want me to bring the noise to?
