James Maddison

Post by Vegas Claret » Sun Aug 03, 2025 3:14 pm

Poor lad looks like he's suffered another serious injury in the friendly against Newcastle today. Wasn't even in a challenge and rumoured to be the same knee that kept him out of last season.

Wish him a speedy and successful recovery, always comes across as a nice lad

Maddison is a cheating con artist schooled by the best at Leicester.

That seems a bit harsh

It's the same knee injury as before. When it's gone it's more suspectible to reoccur.

Don't have an issue with Maddison, but Leicester have tried every trick in the book for many years. Didn't they screw St John's or the Sally army, obviously won the top division after wiping their debts.

True, although I would not wish him badly injured.

One of the downsides to being a professional. I feel for him. Let’s hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

I do remember a number of years back when he came to the ground with a ( wait for it ) £6500 day pack . Lrowo was on on the BBC and the look was classic .

Must admit I’m wondering what a day pack is too. Could be a cucumber face pack, perhaps?

Sorry maybe an Irish or American saying , it was one of these bags that kids take to school with two straps that go over your shoulder with their books .

Absolutely terrible injury. I'm 3months post ACL reconstruction and still absolutely miles off being right.

When speaking to the surgeon it's quite amazing how many operations are carried out weekly to fix this injury even just in Lancashire it is staggering really.

I know 8 people who have had it.

Terrible injury and I wish him well, whilst not being his biggest fan, for a footballer, this is really bad news.
