Is that actually available from the shop though, or mocked up?

Still the same problem, however. It goes from an annoyingly sponsored Football Shirt to an expensive training top
We are doing sponsorless versions of the shirts, same as we did last year

Does feel slightly strange that there aren't claret shorts with this one to give that option between the home and away kits

The kit is nice, but I’m going to sound like a broken record here with the monochrome badge. It’s awful.
Agree with this. Wish they’d bring back the coloured badge.

And if they insist on monochrome, should at least have it mainly claret against the light blue on the away, and vice-versa on the home shirt, so it stands out a little.

I like the shirt but the entire kit doesn't look right to me. The shorts look a different shade of blue and those white socks look like they should be somewhere else. Might look different when it is being worn.

My thoughts exactly, the shirt is v nice, but when a shirt is patterned or two tone, having the shorts as a single tone of a similar colour just doesn't look right. The shorts and socks just look like an afterthought which is a shame.

I agree the shorts don’t look right but I can’t understand how anyone would think claret shorts would look right with it.

Those shorts are definitely a different/wrong shade of blue . Thanks for pointing that out as I can't unsee it now. It's going to annoy everytime they play in it lol.
Have a feeling that happened with another of our kits a few years back.

Each to their own isn’t it, I think that’s got to much going on, claret shorts and clarets socks maybe

The back of the shirt is solid blue so matches the shirt in that aspect.

If there was a way to remove that monochrome badge and add the old badge back on like somebody did with the sponsor I’d pay more for it.

One of the greatest Burnley shirts of all time. Adidas just didn't do a bad one.

I was thinking with one eye on he Women's team, and their general preference for a darker shorts option. Black wouldn't look great. Guess this is going to be addressed by the 3rd kit, though.

They did, that white one with blue stripes was so half arsed it was unbelievable, and less said about the home quarters kit the better

The amber and navy one was pretty rank too.

The adidas ones were two or three year old designs. The 96/97 white away template was worn by Ireland at the 1994 World Cup.

The 1996 quarters shirt was an amalgamation of Liverpools quarter away kit and collar of their home kit from the previous season

It was. Think the first set of adidas kits came from a factory in Stockport I think. The material quality was terrible.

The yellow 97/98 away shown above was first worn as a similar template by Spain in Euro 96 if I remember correctly and Crewe wore it in their home colours the season before.

It's the marketing guff that gets me. "The waves on the shirt recognise the soundwaves of the Turf Moor crowd". Utter nonsense.
Well that is what the designer has done. She is Burnley born and bred but works for Castore.
