Fast replacing Stoke as our once feeder club. Dont forget Humphreys came from there, plus Maatsen, Fofana, Drinkwater, Bamford

Cahill was at Villa when Cotterill spotted him and got him on a years loan. The then Villa manager Martin O Neil did not know what a prize possession he had, and after letting him go on a few more loans sold him cheaply to Bolton. What a career he went on to have

Cotterill had been working for Leicester before coming to Burnley and had watched Cahill in a good few reserve team games so he knew what he was getting. He did all he could to get him back for the following season too.
