FAO Foodcounters 2025-26
The new season is nigh and our intrepid SuperClarets are going to need all the help they can get from their loyal fan base in the unforgiving competition that is the Premier League. To this end I propose we continue investigating the contents of various food containers, as we have done in previous seasons, thus invoking the support of the food counting gods in achieving results on the field of play. If others are willing to participate again this season by volunteering for counts then I am happy to co-ordinate and maintain a list of scores achieved. Below are the first batch of games requiring volunteer counters :-
Sat 16/08 Spurs (a) -
Sat 23/08 Sunderland (h) -
Sat 30/08 Man U (a) - claretmisterg
Sun 14/09 Liverpool (h) -
Sat 20/09 Forest (h) -
Sat 27/09 Man C (a) -
Sat 04/10 Villa (a) -
I've put myself down for the Man U game but will happily do another one if anybody particularly wants to do the count for that game.
Come on you counters and COME ON YOU CLARETS.

I'll do Liverpool on 14/09
Can I make a proposal/suggestion - points for doing a food count be increased to 5? Perhaps with a max limit on how many counts you can do in a season, to prevent volunteering for every game

None of these work for me due to holidays or work commitments but I’ll happily do DL on 18th October if you want to extend the list.

Re: FAO Foodcounters 2025-26
Thanks to all the volunteers so far we have the following counters confirmed :-
Sat 16/08 Spurs (a) - Bosscat
Sat 23/08 Sunderland (h) - Dawlishclaret
Sat 30/08 Man U (a) - claretmisterg
Sun 14/09 Liverpool (h) - Croydon Claret
Sat 20/09 Forest (h) - jdrobbo
Sat 27/09 Man C (a) - tarkys_ears
Sat 04/10 Villa (a) - Eloise Laws
Sat 18/10 Leeds (h) - Zooniverser
I'll post for more volunteers after the Forest game, hopefully we'll have a few points on the board by then, but if anybody wants to volunteer for upcoming games beyond this list then just let me know and I'll add you in. I hope we have a successful and entertaining season but I doubt if we'll match the test series against India for drama (unless we have a player with only one good leg taking the decisive penalty in a shoot out to win the FA cup Final).
Up the mighty clarets, come what may.
