I can't imagine Dundee having paid much for him.

That's a great move for him and Dundee.

Adewumi made a big impression up there and I am sure Joe will do the same. Going to be some big games up there for him.

We've said it was an undisclosed fee, that's the same as we got for James Trafford. :D

Presumably a big sell on fee if he does well there

I was thinking the same. It's only one step on to Celtic or Rangers and then another back to the Prem. Hope we have clauses attached.

He mentions talking to David Longwell in the piece. Funny that he’s rocked up there, given how things ended at the ‘strategic partner’ club…

Wonder how many others might be keen to join knowing he is there? Could go one way or the other. Westley sounded impressed enough, however, the leaked WhatsApp comments might not have convinced Mellon to go there if he had been in place last year! Was a surprise that Tommy McDermott was up there earlier, given some of the very public dressing downs DL dished out to him at some games.

Loan would have been a better option .He certainly shows promise. This Dundee idea is ok but it seems a bit one way or is the standard too low to improve our team?

Well I hope we have a percentage of the profits above the £27,000,000😀😀

It’s an odd relationship.

Sebastian Lockhead was meant to be a prospect. He went to Wolves.
Ally Graham the same, and went to Forest.

You would have thought we should be the destination of choice for these sort of players.

I think having a vehicle for loans, reasonably close by is still useful. 2 of the young lads who have gone permanently recently (I’m calling Dodgson a permanent), have had a stint there.

Didn't Westley score against Huddersfield in pre-season? Did anybody who saw him play for us think he could have gone on to make it to our first team sometime in the future?

I’m sure we’d have first dibs if they produced a star player.

It’s invaluable to have an outlet for younger players, we derive a lot of benefit from the arrangement.

Starts tonight for Dundee at Rangers. Big step up for him. Good luck, Joe.
I’ve got it on Premier 1, not sure if that’s available in UK.

Had a good game. Used on the right of a front 3 but set up by Pressley to defend and catch them on the break. Played the through ball to Robertson that led to a Rangers red card for DGSO. Came off on 64th minute after having treatment for a right knee tweak. He did stay on whilst sub warmed up and was moving well enough but a warm body covers a lot of injuries.
