Not only that, as a reward for their support, they will be free for the rest of their lives.

Add that to them giving away a hospitality room to the Bradley Lowery Foundation for the whole season.

Well done Sunderland.
Had a big soft spot for them since Bob Stokoe was dancing around Wembley with the cup. :)

Lovely gesture. Wonder how many qualifying fans they have? My dad is getting to that age, having watched us since about 1950 so it would be a nice gesture and recognition of all those years of support. Although sadly it's age likely to stop him going on rather than the financial aspect! It's a sad thing getting towards the end of your days attending matches so something like this is a lovely thing.

Not a Black Cat in Hell’s chance of that happening st Burnley under the current administration
I base this on how much Senior tickets went up under them

Somebody will have the figures but I'm thinking that the cost of a senior season ticket at Sunderland is far greater than that at Burnley. I might even go as far as thinking the concession rate at Burnley is much better than at Sunderland. Happy to be proved wrong.

Last season and this season prices at ours

The cheapest senior season ticket is £219 (£9.52 a game last season & £11.52 a game this season)

The dearest senior season ticket is £262 (£11.39 a game last season & £13.80 a game this season)

Senior season tickets used to be half price now 68.6% of the adult price based on where I sit.

Sunderland senior season ticket prices for this season range between £400-£545. 67-69% of an adult season ticket

Not sure if that is correct. I pay £360 for my senior season ticket in the JH Upper, £30 per month direct debit. £18.95 per game (19 games). Still good value.

Where is ours?

I wish I was paying those prices at Burnley.

Are there any meeting the criteria? :o

In Sunderland, the average life expectancy is 78 years. This is 12 years less than the UK's highest average life expectancy of 90 years, according to a Facebook post from LewisForSunderland. For men, life expectancy is 76.5 years, while for women it's 80.9 years

Apologies you are correct despite putting in the current and previous season for a price list it gave me an outdated one.

Cheapest are now £240 and dearest £360 as you say still good value

It’s a low cost gesture that gains them lots of plaudits and good will. Not sure why every club doesn’t do it to be honest.

As it is a non statutory age, i wonder, if it was more widespread, pensioners between 65 and 84 might get a little itchy suing finger.....

If it’s even possible you’d have to be extremely mean spirited to sue because the only result is that the free tickets would end.

Oh very much so, but it wouldn't be the first time.
