Possibly. I've touched upon a lack of research before leading to the fast signings. It's my belief that it's not really secrecy strategical more the expedited nature. In some ways it could be a good thing with the Chelsea lads provided all stones are unturned.

All agreed with Dúbravka according to Dhamesh Sheth (Sky) and he's having his medical.

Solid addition that. Decent keeper and gives us more money to throw at the other two rumoured signings.

He was born in Middelfart Denmark
Are we wanting him to put the wind in our sails or put the wind up the opposition?

Hope we can finalise all 3 tomorrow. Would be nice for them to feature against Lazio on Saturday.

I thought there were 3 before today and if we sign Eriksen that would make 4?

Ugochukwu has signed, according to this French journalist:

I’d love that to be true. He could be our Barkley.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
A spine with Dubravka, Esteve, Cullen, Eriksen, Ugochukwu and Broja offers a decent amount of PL experience. If we add Walker into thr mix aswell then it starts to look a bit rosier

IF Eriksen is an option then I think that’s us done. The rest of the window has to be about sorting out moves for the likes of Sambo, Green, Churlinov, Tresor, Delcroix and Obafemi. That’s before we get on to loan moves for Sonne, Beyer and Agyei.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
I think we'd be silly not to give Tresor a few opportunities from thr bench. We'd risk losing a good one for a really crap fee if we don't test him outFeedTheArf wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 9:57 pmIF Eriksen is an option then I think that’s us done. I want Tresor to have an opportunity as well, and I'm sure SP will have seen enough of him by now to know whether he's worth that chance.
I can't see Eriksen coming, but it would be brilliant if he did. Lots of people mentioning his skills, but we have loads of players with skills. It's his football brain that would make the difference, plus he could teach the younger players an awful lot.

Funny creatures Burnley fans. The number pining for Tresor to be given a chance whilst players who actually got us up like Hannibal are gladly cast aside as no longer good enough for us before a ball is even kicked! Wonderful motivation for putting a shift in and doing well.

I thought Hannibal really improved as last season progressed. He’s a good athlete, which I think will help at the higher level this season. I’m still interested to see if he can keep his head though because you can guarantee opponents will be aware of his temper.welsbyswife wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 8:39 pmFunny creatures Burnley fans. Part of that regarding tresor might lie with trying to justify what purpose he's got at the club cos without getting into whether he's been injured or not so far he's done the square root of bugger all & you are approaching 2 years it's not as if he's just rocked up.welsbyswife wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 8:39 pmFunny creatures Burnley fans. We played £17m for him? Why wouldn’t any of us want him to get fit and take his chance. If he could recapture some of his form from Belgium he’d be a real asset. Even if it is highly unlikely to happen.

He seems to fit in with the squad which suggests that those who know anything about him accept that he's had difficulties. I would love him to have an impact this season... as I would any squad member. I think that goes for most fans.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 8:54 pmPart of that regarding tresor might lie with trying to justify what purpose he's got at the club cos without getting into whether he's been injured or not so far he's done the square root of bugger all & you are approaching 2 years it's not as if he's just rocked up.

Considering the length of time & lack of contributing I can't think of any other club or player that would let something go on for this long. By now well long by now you'd be offloading looking to cut your losses.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 9:10 pmHe seems to fit in with the squad which suggests that those who know anything about him accept that he's had difficulties. Do we really know what goes on at other clubs?
And we have no idea what MT has gone through. I'd certainly cut him some slack, he might just repay it.

Broja deal worth up to £20m ‘if all add ons are met’.
So it’s up to speculation how much of that is the base fee.

I hope so. Talk about psychopathic behaviour by many posters.
CT and moderators gave plenty of warnings. a short suspension and still those responsible for the initial suspension carried on as if nothing had happened when it was opened up again.

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Burnley boss Scott Parker is delighted to have brought in some Premier League experience this summer, but still wants to add new faces before the transfer deadline.
The Clarets have worked hard to offset the exit of key players like Josh Brownhill, CJ Egan-Riley and James Trafford as they seek to build a squad capable of beating the drop.
Veteran England defender Kyle Walker has been the headline acquisition, with recent signings Martin Dubravka, Armando Broja and Lesley Ugochukwu adding more Premier League nous.
“Really positive and it is crucial as well – the balance of a squad going into the Premier League,” Parker said of their current signings.
“It was a young squad last year, and it’s a young squad this year, and certainly it’s a young squad in terms of actually being in the Premier League.
“So, these players that have an understanding of what this league demands and what it looks like is crucial for us and delighted that we’ve managed to get some of these over the line.”
Parker feels Burnley are in a “good place” heading into Saturday’s opener at Tottenham, but is eyeing more business before the deadline.
“There’s areas we are looking at,” he said. “We tried to do some business early, which we did and we were very happy with.
“Big squad at the moment, so no doubt that some will be leaving as well and over the coming two weeks left of the window we are looking to try and do some more business to strengthen us even more.”
