Yes it’s an expensive day out for a friendly if you are taking a family on especially in the middle of the summer holidays.

Looks reasonable value to me. Opposition is a big step up for a startClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:15 amA real opportunity to take kids on for this one lost for some because of the pricing. My brother, like me, is paying £10 for a senior season ticket holder but the cost for taking his 6-year-old grandson is £15 because he's not a season ticket holder and that's the concession price for non-season ticket holders.
For a child that age, it was £5 at Huddersfield and just £1 at Stoke.

Not entirely sure why they are so high, but it's been clearly reflecting in the ticket salesClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:15 amA real opportunity to take kids on for this one lost for some because of the pricing. Re: Lazio tickets ...
Does anybody know how many tickets have been sold?
Pictured a pretty full ground when the fixture was announced but sounds like it will be anything but. Shame.

Re: Lazio tickets ...
It’s a massive pain in the arse trying to buy tickets.
I’ve tried to get four tickets online today but need membership numbers for everybody. Two of the people coming on don’t have them so I can’t get them tickets.
So I thought I’d nip to the ticket office in person to buy them. But it’s closed, they don’t open Wednesday apparently.
No other organisation makes it this difficult to give them your money.

I'd be interested to postulate how much less money we'd make if we'd charged £5 for adults and £1 for kidsClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:15 amA real opportunity to take kids on for this one lost for some because of the pricing. Re: Lazio tickets ...
They close on Wednesdays to improve the customer service - I've not worked that one out yet. I was in the same situation as you but thought I'd be OK when it said four per Clarets Number but would only let me get one.Socrates wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 1:40 pmIt’s a massive pain in the arse trying to buy tickets.

Re: Lazio tickets ...
Sunderland AFC v Rayo Vallecano (who i am
ashamed to say I've never heard of)
-£20 for an adult
-£15 for over 65.
Some reductions if you're a season ticket holder.
According to some on here Sunderland's approach is the way forward

NGL i'm not sure i'd be in a rush to encourage someone to take their kids to this one, after our Hannover experience....
Not sure pricing is the key cause of the lack of interest

Re: Lazio tickets ...
Was much easier when you could just rock up and pay at the turnstile for games like this.

Re: Lazio tickets ...
Just booked onine.
So to be clear:
There's no way you can print at home??
Not going to be very easy for me to get there before 2.30 to get club to print ticket, so either I'll have to go down first thing in the morning to get my ticket printed or turn up at about 2.50 and most likely miss the kick-off.
Never had this problem before

Re: Lazio tickets ...
Well, I still haven't received my ticket via email as promised, so they will have to sort me with one at the ticket office tomorrow, although I have had 3 emails asking me to get a ticket, including the latest one saying I can get a ticket at the ticket office.
I'll be there at 1.00pm tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Don't think print at home is an option. Did your email confirmation not contain a download option right at the end of it?nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Fri Aug 08, 2025 10:03 pmJust booked onine.

This is the email confirmation I received for the 3 tickets I ordered
Each ticket had the option to download to phone, and I then forwarded those tickets on to the other people going

Why do you need to print it?nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 9:42 amYes I have downloaded it but you can’t print that can you?
Use the ticket you’ve downloaded to your phone by scanning the QR code
Re: Lazio tickets ...
I have the message “your QR code will be available soon” on my tickets, but surely I should have the QR code by now? I never got an email confirmation, the “tickets” without barcode just appeared in my wallet?

Re: Lazio tickets ...
It would be a reasonable assumption that someone who is capable of receiving emails and posting on here would be able to access a smart phone.
Re: Lazio tickets ...
Well over 90% of the adult population has one, so it's not a wild assumption to make
What's the ticket been downloaded to?

Re: Lazio tickets ...
I assumed you had a smartphone as you said you download the ticket
If you don’t have a printer to print it I’m not sure why you’d have downloaded it in the first place then

Re: Lazio tickets ...
That's really not the point though is it?
There are many reasons why someone may either choose not to have one, or not happen to have one at a given time.
If 10% of adults don't have one then that could be upwards of 1,000 attendees at Turf Moor. Also one would also assume that there will be a lot of under 11s at this game, and a large proportion of them won't have a smartphone.
Apparently 28% of over 75s don't have a smartphone, add to that children, so it is quite a stretch to assume - as you have - that the overwhelming majority have one.

Re: Lazio tickets ...
I shouldn't have to answer to you, but, as you ask, as for some other events, (including some away games) I get someone else to download it, and then they can email it to me for printing. Seemingly, you can't download a printable ticket for this game though.

I wasn’t asking you to answer to me, I was trying to fully understand what your issue was and maybe suggest a solutionnil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 12:23 pmI shouldn't have to answer to you, but, as you ask, as for some other events, (including some away games) I get someone else to download it, and then they can email it to me for printing. What is it you’ve downloaded to your PC) I’m taking a risk here in assuming it’s to a PC)
If it’s a QR code that should still be printable

I think the actual figure is 98%nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 12:18 pmThat's really not the point though is it?

I'll assume you're over 11
And if you're under 75 it was still a safe assumption for the poster to have made.
Anyway...enjoy the game
Re: Lazio tickets ...
My God it all sounds so damn complicated. You've got to be keen to go to football these days (and I'm not talking about the cost...).

I take your point about the QR code.
I've thought about printing from a screenshot on tablet, but this may not be the same as a paper ticket from ticket office so I'm not going to risk it.
Hoping that it will be ok on my son's smartphone. He can go through then pass his phone back to me to rescan. Otherwise I go to ticket office as it says on the email.
My basic point, however, is that I've never come across a scenario before where there isn't the option to self-print. There is still a need for this for a significant minority of people.
Re: Lazio tickets ...
What's that got to do with it? He probably just has a laptop. I have a smartphone but don't use emails on it. Only use a laptop for that.wadeswondergoal wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 11:55 amIt would be a reasonable assumption that someone who is capable of receiving emails and posting on here would be able to access a smart phone.
