Never buy anything on the turf but today thought I’d order a pint for half time.paid for it £6.30 fair enough it’s a rip off but it’s going to the club so who cares.Went down to pick up the pint at the 40th minute ,returned to my seat in the 55th minute with full pint tucked inside my jacket because I didn’t want to miss anymore of the game.
Whoever organises the shambles behind those bars needs firing.thougt the whole point of ore ordering was to avoid queuing ,can we not pre-pour pints for the half time rush? Won’t be bothering buying anything ever again just not worth the hassle, also no hot food available to order after 2.45 all sold out .premier league football, non league catering .
This was all Longside lower

The quality of the catering and the level of service has been an issue for quite some time.

Presumably the Club just don't care.

The beer and food prices are a joke but as a few people have said…just don’t pay it.

The most important question is have they increased Bene n Hot?!
£3.30 for a bene

Not sure if it’s gone up from last season but I do recall them being about £2.50 not long ago

If it’s £3.30 for a Bene they’ve gone up quite a bit … pretty sure they were £2.50 - £2.80 last year

I stopped getting anything from there about 2 seasons ago and just bring in now …

The American owners don't seem interested in providing a decent catering service. If they were interested it wouldn't be like it is.

Poor catering doesn’t prove they’re not interested - it might just mean they’re not competent, or that other priorities come first. And the fact they’re American has nothing to do with it; bad service isn’t a national trait, it’s a management choice.

Nationality has nothing to do with it.

It was crap when you had owners born and bred in the town

What's not reasonable about it? It's on par or cheaper than most stadiums in the country.
At every away game that I went to last season, the beer was cheaper, the food was cheaper, the staff were far better organised, and there was a far better choice of different types of food.

Spot on there goalkeeper.Said the same yesterday.
How you can run out of hot food half an hour before kick off is just incompetence from whoever’s in charge.

Sadly we’re in an era now where the standard price for a pint at any event is roughly £6 at the very least! At least the choices are getting better though, could you imagine if we was still having Carlsberg bottles in the concourse & being asked for £6.30! Estrella & Poretti are 2 very good options imo.

I drive to the majority of home games so rarely have a pint inside the stadium. May have one beforehand depending when I get in/if can get one in the CFS. As for the pies, it seems to be a mix bag of burnt or cold for the past couple season.

Dreading to think how much one will cost us down at Spurs next weekend 😂

The prices which are rising to be inline with most other clubs and the quality of which the offerings have improved but the presentation has not are almost irrelevant if
They run out of certain products before kick off
You can’t actually get served within the half time interval
When you do get served a product that should be good is either burnt or undercooked
Incentivised not to bother!
Although credit given to the problem of the lids not fitting properly on the cups
Put milk in so it’s not nuclear to avoid being sued and only fill the cup 2/3rds up for extra safety
Both these actions have required a price hike

The prices are now on a par
The offering is improving
The service is terrible
The presentation is poor

By design though you would think it would be very American to make accessing the food easy and you’d expect fairly crap quality but tasty fare for big bucks
The service is worse than before
Products run out before kick off
Then poorly presented after long slow queues

The range of products is better
But
If there’s none left
You can’t get to the front of the queue
Or you get a burnt pie for a kings ransom
Then
It’s a failure

Anyone who buys the fare on offer in a football stadium deserves everything they get which is usually tasteless crap.
I'd say they deserve a quality product for the prices they pay.

Price not an issue with me,but queuing twice to buy the pint and it taking 35 minutes is the problem

I'm generally not bothered about a pie or a pint but quite like a bene in the winter months. If its gone up to 3.30 i won't be bothering anynore, ridiculous.

Yeah having to decide whether you want to miss the end of the first half or start of the second half is annoying I agree there. You can be queued up for all of half time and have moved about 3 feet 😂

Poor service, poor choice, very expensive and extremely slow. Gave up on this the season before last. Plenty of choice outside the ground and can bring better with me.

I could have posted this on any number of threads on here, but despite it only being a pre season friendly, look at the issues and complaints that people already have before the campaign has even begun... Poor standard and expensive food and drink, unauthorised vaping in the stands, the CFS swap over and all of what that entails, the embarrassing tannoy announcer, Phil Bird seemingly losing the plot... I could go on, but there's plenty there for the new ISA to get their collective teeth into, and only seems to reinforce the need for such an organisation to exist!

What exactly does this two stage purchasing offer us apart from two places to queue for every purchase?

I used to get a swift Bene on the way to my seat, I stopped as soon as the ordering stations were installed.

I think everyone thought catering was the one thing Pace and ALK would improve pronto but it doesn't seem that's the case at all. Similar applies to ticketing.

I recall at game at the Emirates where Mrs Tribes bought some sort of German hot dog , it lasted 10 mins before she threw it back up , she said it was that bad .
Ben Mee gave away a last minute penalty and we lost 2-1 hey there have been better days watching the Clarets .

I’ve had a questionnaire emailed today by the club asking for my feedback on the ground yesterday. Catering, ease of buying tickets, atmosphere etc

I got a 24/25 survey with most questions doubled up. The behind the scenes staff at Turf Moor seem quite lackadaisical about the detail of stuff.

The food is pretty decent at Spurs and beer is a comparable price to the surrounding area (expensive but that’s London for you). Hard to believe it’s the same company as at Turf Moor

I'd probably just go to haffners before the game and get one of the pies from the shop at about half the price though.

I think the ISA could have a role to play if led properly. I will give them enough credit to want to discuss bigger things than music, announcers , pies etc

It’s a poor do when the food and drink offering at Clitheroe FC is far better than a Premier League club

Yeah think if memory serves me right, when I went when we got relegated under VK, a pint of Neck Oil was £6.90 or around that figure,

Had a couple of pies in the Bob Lord can honestly say I will never be buying again, it was slightly burnt but you could have painted on the filling it was that thin, and not tasty at all, had the mince and onion for information, they just seemed more interested in trying to get you to oay extra for mash and gravy. Service so bad even missed the second half kick off

People complain about the food and beverage offerings but at every game I always see scores of people with pies, hot dogs and drinking beer. If people are still buying it then the club are doing something right and there is no reason for them to change what they are doing.

No, I haven’t. I’m still waiting to see what role they will fulfill compared to the Clarets Trust. I did ask CT, but he didn’t answer the question.

And no, I won’t, but I’m not naive enough to think just banding a group together will make the club listen.

Interesting that they tried haffners and people still say they were shite.

Reckon they could serve fresh lobster tails and some would still complain

I'm sure they could do American style stadium food but be prepared to pay $20 for a pint

Still do it. Or at least they did last season.
Shows how out of touch I am.

I'm generally not bothered about a pie or a pint but quite like a bene in the winter months. If its gone up to 3.30 i won't be bothering anynore, ridiculous.
My thoughts exactly.

No, I haven’t. I’m still waiting to see what role they will fulfill compared to the Clarets Trust. I did ask CT, but he didn’t answer the question.

And no, I won’t, but I’m not naive enough to think just banding a group together will make the club listen.
I would suggest it's better than doing nothing.

But why is it better than the Clarets Trust? The question no one seems to want to answer.
