Dubravka
A lot of noise online saying he’s still injured.
Who starts on Saturday instead if he still is? Hladky/Weiss/Green.

Re: Dubravka
Can't have been a surprise to the club. He didnt go to the Far East with Newcastle due to the injury.

Re: Dubravka
I wasn’t aware he had an injury, no suggestion of it from Parker.
Re: Dubravka
Had injections for a shoulder injury at Newcastle.
Re: Dubravka
Presumably it's not that bad or he wouldn't ja e passed a medical. Especially on a 1 year deal, there's no point if he has a serious injury.

Re: Dubravka
'Dubravka's representatives have been in talks with Burnley for weeks, with the goalkeeper missing Newcastle's recent Far East trip due to a minor shoulder issue.'

Trafford back on loan?
Re: Dubravka
Please not Hldaky. He looked seriously sub-par in the Championship

Re: Dubravka
So we have now signed 4 players bro, hart, tuz and dub with questionable fitness records, bash, zian, connor,,zeki, beyer , tresor , benson all injured,an older gentleman who will be good for the dressing oh and a player who didn't want to play for us two seasons ago but now wants to play in EPL.
Good business?

Re: Dubravka
That certainly one way to look at what most seem to think has been a pretty decent window, so far.brexit wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 9:20 pmSo we have now signed 4 players bro, hart, tuz and dub with questionable fitness records, bash, zian, connor,,zeki, beyer , tresor , benson all injured,an older gentleman who will be good for the dressing oh and a player who didn't want to play for us two seasons ago but now wants to play in EPL.

Re: Dubravka
Premier League rules say you can't loan a player you have acquired in the same window to another PL club, so that's out.

Re: Dubravka
I think Dubravka has only had 2 injuries, one being the current one of which we know nothing; could be just a niggle.

It's mental. I'm just hoping they all somehow keep fit.brexit wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 9:20 pmSo we have now signed 4 players bro, hart, tuz and dub with questionable fitness records, bash, zian, connor,,zeki, beyer , tresor , benson all injured,an older gentleman who will be good for the dressing oh and a player who didn't want to play for us two seasons ago but now wants to play in EPL.

Re: Dubravka
Not so keen now
Hladky hasn't done himself any favours, Weiß isn't ready and Green is raw, great

Re: Dubravka
Why would we sign a keeper with a shoulder injury on a one year deal , it’s almost like the recruitment team don’t know what they are doing , they’ll be signing a striker next who hasn’t scored for two seasons , oh hang on a minute.

Re: Dubravka
It does seem daft with Sam Johnson unhappy at wolves seemingly chomping at the bit. The extra 5/6million can easily be accounted for with a goalie over 4 years younger so really breaking it down it's 1.5m per year not a great amount. Edited in some quarters SJ would have cost £7m.

Re: Dubravka
Showing as a doubt on my FPL team
Re: Dubravka
Anyone heard anything regarding that Etienne Green lad? When we first signed him the videos of him online showed him looking sharp and composed and he's a big lad. Wondering if he's progressed at all in the time we've had him?
