A beer with a famous person
A beer with a famous person
I think we’ve had something similar before but it’s worth revisiting.
If you could go for a beer with a famous person who would it be and why? Dead or alive, play with me on this , just a bit of fun.
For me it would be Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. Always been a fan and I’d ask him lots of questions about what goes on in his mind presently and in the past.

Probably someone like Sir Alex Ferguson for me (although it would be a glass or two of red). You would learn so much just by sitting there listening to him.
I have had a drink with some bloke who played guitar and wrote a few songs though called Paul McCartney.

Bruce Springsteen.
I’d love to know if he had been denied one talent from singer, musician, composer, record producer, etc., which would it be.

if you ever get your wish be sure to ask roger about his views that the october 7th massacre was actually a conspiracy invented by the israelis, his insistence that putin is right to invade ukraine and that the taiwanese people have no right to self-determination.
he's a great musician but an almost david icke level of dickhead.

Probably Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden
Not your stereotypical hard rock front man, very articulate and educated, and how many other people could boast what he has achieved? (Lead singer of one of the biggest rock bands ever, keen footballer, pilot that flies the band around the world, Olympic standard fencer etc.)
I've 'met' plenty of people during my teenage years through work, but not actually spent time with any. I once bumped into Hugh Cornwell (Stranglers) in Clitheroe around 5 or 6 hours before he was due to play there that night. I asked him to join us for beer and he replied to say thanks but didn't have time, then he shuffled off with what looked like an 18 year old good looking girl dressed in full punk/rock outfit, so I thought fair do's
