Id Sunderland win today this has been about as bad a start as we could have hoped for.
I get your point, but there has been a lot of positives here and Spurs are going to be up there this season IMO.

Standard PL -
Make a mistake = concede
Miss your chances = concede

Unbelievably harsh on us TBF, could and should have been level moments earlier, then wow!

That's the harsh reality of the PL I suppose

I’d have to see it again but I think Sonne coulda gone with Richarlison for the second, stop him getting the clean strike on it

So depressing to take part in this league. You get some golden chances and either miss them or take an age to make a decision, and then the opposition get a worldie.

I don’t know what to say about it anymore.

Some great play from Ugochuckwu there.

No difference in performance levels between the teams for me. Just the difference in quality.

All the mainstream media will just go with Burnley will go straight back down and this and that.

We will get no credit at all for how we have played today.

If he wants to play this formation, we might still need a few incomings.

On here, every goal against is the fault of one of our players!
Sometimes it's just good play by the opposition......

It’s the first game. Going 1-0 down within 10 mins is always going to be a pain, but the stats in terms of chances look good for us. We go again, more experienced, to the next game. UTC!

Dunno why Johnson was pointing at his name when scoring (presumably to the Burnley fans?) given that his dad played for us.

Anyway, back on topic, Dubravka no saves I can recall and could have done better, but we know from history he is decent.

Getting a bit annoyed with Parker already (maybe unfairly), still five at the back and two holding when 3-0 down. Could be a long season if we leave our flair players on the bench often.
