Sounds like tresor and Koleosho are expected to be off. Bids incoming according to bullshitter Brad jones
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
Probably for the best. Tresor has been an absolute disaster and don't see Koleosho getting much game time this year. Although i still think he could come good, but needs to be playing.blatherwickstattoos wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 11:29 amSounds like tresor and Koleosho are expected to be off. Lets hope its permanent for the wage stealer Tresor, and only a loan for Kolesho unless we get a great bid

Lack of pace was evident yesterday. Koleosho at least has this. Tresor was renowned for assists in the Belgium league . Parker knows best though

Brad Jones isn’t a journalist. He’s probably not even a real person.
Let’s keep him off this thread.

I don't want to see Koleosho go. I think at this level he is much more useful than the division below and he will help us stretch teams when we get overloaded.
That being said. If they both went and we got 20-30m. I could envisage it slightly more possible a return for Tella could be on the cards. We'll have moved two wide players on and we'll want an option who can stretch teams to relieve pressure. Wide options currently minus Tresor and Koleosho are Anthony, Edwards, Tchouna and Benson. Considering it's unlikely we see Benson again too I would say there's still an option for a wide man should we do this business.
I've talked myself round. Id be open to it if it enables us to get tella

Thought Edwards came good for us last season, but have to say watching him running around yesterday albeit for not longr had me asking if he had the physique and pace to harm a strong PL defence. Surprised to not see Koleosho not even on bench

So basically, there are no bids coming in for Tresor or Koleosho.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
From the Burnley Express regarding Mikey and koleosho-
When asked to explain their absences, Parker added: “Mainly selection. We'll see how that pans out over the coming week.”
Looks like we'll ship them out.

Suspect both loans, although Kolo gives us an extra squad place atm. Anything that gets MT playing would be good and a loan may increase his value, which must be zero currently.

Doesn't make sense to loan out Koleosho as he is under 21 he doesn't take up any space in the squad, he's essentially a free hit.summitclaret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 12:49 pmSuspect both loans, although Kolo gives us an extra squad place atm. I'm sure we could utilise his pace and workrate.

Think it’s more for his career, he needs to be playing week in week out. Not the occasional five mins here or therebillyhamilton82 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 2:17 pmDoesn't make sense to loan out Koleosho as he is under 21 he doesn't take up any space in the squad, he's essentially a free hit.

I’d have Koleosho and Tresor over Brun Larsen, a bizarre signing when we already had an abundance of wide players.

Was expecting Tresor to go somewhere. Hope he can get back to the player he was in Belgium.morninbob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 11:59 amMagic mike to Espanol on loan.

Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
I don't expect to see him again.
He signed a 4 year deal with us and if he goes out on loan this season he'll have been here for 3 of them without barely kicking a ball. Even if he does well he'll be coming back with less than 12 months on his contract.
I'd rather see the lad leave permanently to be completely honest.
Re: Summer 2025 BFC Transfer Window - Links and discussion on the Linked player only.
I’d rather see him gone permanently after a brilliant season than now, with his stock so low.boyyanno wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 12:43 pmI don't expect to see him again.

Yes, came on with the game done and dusted. Amazing where Sonne has come from to be first choice. But football now seems to be about runners and not footballers. Don't expect there is a player in this league who can't control the ball on his chest, thigh or either foot. The ones who are qui k over short distances now cost a lot of money and Esteve apart that's why we haven't got any.warksclaret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 11:54 amThought Edwards came good for us last season, but have to say watching him running around yesterday albeit for not longr had me asking if he had the physique and pace to harm a strong PL defence.

Tressor was a VK sick joke.He was desperate to sign Mike who has turned out to be one of our worst ever players. It was ok back in 80s when we paid next to nothing for flops but now North of £15m is money we can't afford to waste. We definitely need an obligation to buy deal to at least get some money back

Sonne isn't first choice. Roberts is injured and if we go with a back four, then it'll be Walker every time.Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 1:13 pmYes, came on with the game done and dusted. Even if he had a brilliant season (big if), it would pretty much be negated by how little time he had left remaining on his contract with us and the fact that his long-term future clearly isn't here.
I think there's a time where you have to accept and cut your losses whatever they may be and that's where I'm at with Tresor.

No idea on the length of contract he signed and i’m not question that he will have been a Burnley player for 3 years ish by the end of this season if still here, but he did 1 season on loan so by the end of this season he will have done 2 years of his contract not 3!boyyanno wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 12:43 pmI don't expect to see him again.

Is the lad we signed from Ipswich not a right back as well? Presume another one who is injured.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 1:40 pmSonne isn't first choice. Roberts is injured and if we go with a back four, then it'll be Walker every time.

Says in that article that he can play as a winger or a striker. If one we could think of a team that needs another striker.morninbob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 18, 2025 11:59 amMagic mike to Espanol on loan.
