It’s amazing the movement of players in and out of the club over the past 4 years, I don’t imagine that we have ever seen such volumes traded at other times in the club’s history.

Summer 22/23 there clearly needed to be a massive reset of the squad but since then it’s been crazy

In terms of first team minutes on the field who played the least and who has played the most since VK took over?

I thought it was a good route to go down, buying young and developing.
This is a kick in the teeth for our coaching set up. Why couldn't they improve him?
Do we improve enough of them?

It would be easier if we didn’t buy literally an entirely new squad and coaching team every season (through no fault other than relegation/promotion I must add)Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 6:58 pmI thought it was a good route to go down, buying young and developing.

Assuming we get relegated (defeatist, I know, but the likelihood is high), there’s a fair chance he won’t play for us again.
A real shame.

They say the best way to improve is on the field playing. Maybe this move gives him a better chance, I hope so.
No doubt in my mind he has moments of brilliance for club and country

Shame we couldn’t loan them Tresor or Ramsey. Hopefully a buyer is lined up for the former though.
Re: ARTICLE: Koleosho goes back to Espanyol in a loan deal
Can we not give Ramsey a chance to prove himself?

What is your love in with this bloke?
He’s had one or two decent games for us. He’s got like four goal contributions in his career.
He needs to go somewhere to play games as he 100% won’t play for us this season.
I could totally understand it if he had the quality of Danny ings or Mcneil. But he’s not even close to that level yet.

Just weird, consistently makes out like he’s this amazing young talent.
He’s quick, that’s pretty much all he has to his game at the moment.

Re: ARTICLE: Koleosho goes back to Espanyol in a loan deal
what a shame, hoping he goes and carves out a great career.
I thought he was highly talented and exciting player.
I suppose the club know whats best for the lad. injuries or loss of form affect all footballers, but he did seem to have an abundance of skill. wouldve been great to see him in full flow and fully fit with his creativity.

Just no point responding to that. You've got the dig in at me you couldn't wait to make (fidel too), happy to let you have that.

Re: ARTICLE: Koleosho goes back to Espanyol in a loan deal
Yep one or two decent games. In the prem he was quick and agile but produced nothing.
Championship he was slower and was rightfully dropped at the earliest opportunity.
Again, if he was a talent like Ings or McNeil when they broke out I could understand your point of view. But he’s played like 50 games and got 4 goal contributions. This is the best for his career and it might free up some wages to get a decent loan in.

My head is still dizzy with it.
Think the revolving door has left too many on the inside though.

Re: ARTICLE: Koleosho goes back to Espanyol in a loan deal
Will be interesting to see how he does. Hopefully he gets a lot f game time and someone can coach some sort of improvement.
No doubt he will get better each passing week with some on here during his time away when we’ll undoubtedly be struggling but personally I don’t think we’ll miss him at all.

He is still young so hopefully he will come back a better player with game time unless they have a choice to buy..
