I think that’s quite likely. Imagine 2 PL managers losing their jobs 2 games into the season.

Sad to see the demise of a club which won the World Cup in 1966 apparently.

Remember when West Ham won a European trophy and finished in Europe 3 seasons out of 4 and the fans wanted Moyes sacked for not playing "The West Ham way"

In other news Derby look absolutely clueless. If our Reserves can't beat their Reserves next week it's time to wrap up.

On a good run too, against The Pars.Barlickclaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 9:28 pmBest team in Scotland, and what a place kirkcaldy.

A good watch.
A very distant relation to 'Tippy-tappy' footy. Far more Woosh!
Still enjoyable though.

Re: Tonight's Football
Derby have equalised against Bristol City which puts Rovers in the bottom three. Good start of season for them.

If it’s possible to be world class at a very specific part of the game, Scott Twine is a world class free kick taker.

Re: Tonight's Football
If football ever had rolling subs for set pieces (which I wouldn't rule out as the Americanisation of the game continues), then he'd genuinely be one of the most valuable players in world football.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 9:49 pmIf it’s possible to be world class at a very specific part of the game, Scott Twine is a world class free kick taker.

I wanted to highlight that fact that you aren’t in the pub with your mates where you can insult people that you consider are beneath you with impunity and expect a laugh, but an internet forum where your comments can be scrutinised by all and sundry.Holmechapel wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 9:07 pmNothing much apart from seeing Sullivan reminded me of the poison Dwarf ,but if I’ve offended the little people I do apologise ,might say the same about your comment.
Hope that helps.

I'd like to know the stats for us. But he definitely scored one and hit the post with another. I'd be surprised if he took more than 5. Heck of a record.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 9:49 pmIf it’s possible to be world class at a very specific part of the game, Scott Twine is a world class free kick taker.
I cant be certain, but I was led to believe, some time ago, that Cristiano Ronaldo's record from free kicks was something like 2% conversion
