90+2' The Clarets concede a penalty, but Connor Edwards produces a fantastic save low to his right!

Its a wonderfully long time since their first team have beaten us.
But it's taken a good while for our younger sides to start winning, so far ahead of us was their set up, at one time.
Things are getting to how they should be now. :D

The #U18PL points are shared, with Scanlon and Pouani on target in a 2-2 draw.

Looks like a draw which is disappointing given the lead we had but it's still a good result for us.

Even more confusing:
According to ChatGpt
Here’s the final score for the Under-18 match played today, Saturday, 23 August 2025, between Blackburn Rovers U18 and Burnley U18:

Burnley U18 defeated Blackburn Rovers U18 by 2–1. Blackburn took the lead at half-time through Harry Leonard in the 25th minute, but Burnley responded in the second half with Lucas Wane equalising in the 66th minute and Will Couch scoring the winner in the 89th minute.
