I wonder who Newcastle can sign off us in January to make us worse so they can come above us  .
We could sell them Foster before the end of the month, £30m?

I would be surprised if Newcastle can hit the same level of effort in their next game.

Joelinton has really invigorated his career since dropping into midfield after being a £40m flop as a striker. Does help that he has Bruno Guimaraes next to him who imo is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Wow. Since that PSG defeat in the CL how many times have they thrown away leads? Over run by 10 men with enforced subs.

I love moments like this. 16 year old making his debut scoring to win the game in stoppage time. It’s the stuff of dreams.

Best atmosphere I've heard in a long time, Newcastle were brilliant. Liverpool haven't played well yet have 6 points and have scored 7 in 2.

Without his stupidity, they could have gone on and won that, certainly wouldn't have lost.

Was a great game of football but I can't help feel depressed at the predictability of it all. There are no happy endings in football and the whole thing seems rigged towards the top sides. It's like it's great to watch but heartbreaking to witness at the same time. Not this specific result, just the product as a whole.

Arne Slot using the same criticisms Dycheball used to get against Newcastle’s tactics made me chuckle.

Slots quote below.
A) stop giving them FKs.
B) You have an extra man, leave one up and they are forced to mark him.

Wasn't suggesting that the individual game was rigged but the system is rigged to keep those already at the top at the top in future. It's not an even contest at all. All the Isak uncertainty etc is all part of that and that helped Liverpool last night without a doubt.
