Golden, hand-cut potato shards, delicately air-kissed with sodium crystals, elegantly layered upon pillowy artisanal white bread. Adorned with a vivid coulis of vine-ripened tomato essence.

Trying to decide between fish fingers, chips and beans, or pie, chips and beans. More likely we'll go with the wife's choice of Moroccan lamb tangine with flat bread and a glass of 🍷 since she is doing the cooking.

Lamb's leg steak (fried pretty well done with garlic and rosemary), small potatoes (boiled) with some butter, carrots, peas + maybe broccoli. Having some nice red wine with that from Corbieres (mix of syrah and grenache).

No pudding for me today whilst eating in, save that pleasure for when eating out.

Know the feeling! I've been left alone for a month. Clearing the freezer of old McCain chips that are a block of ice! Plus fish fingers and some healthy stuff out of the greenhouse.
