Yeah it has to be loan only, surely. If we go down and he plays well this season he could be very useful for us.

Shouldn't be letting Ramsay go anywhere - he played really well for the full game against Derby and is now on the bench.

Letting him go out on loan and then having to try reintegrate him into the squad might not be the best decision.

Aaron Ramsey out doesn’t leave much creativity if our inside rights / lefts are well marshalled. Especially with the others we expect to leave today too.

So either Scott is too risk averse and it will cost him success (my fear) or we have another rabbit to come from the hat today (my hope). I won’t speculate who that could be due to the rules of this thread.

Yes. Clubs can sign free agents - players who are not contracted to another club - at any time.

However, unless there is space in a club's registered squad or the player is under the age of 21, new signings must wait until the next registration period before they can play for the club.

Personally I'd keep Ramsey after his performance against Derby. But in Parker we trust. Think Eriksen would be a smart signing as a replacement however if there's truth in that rumour.

I think a loan out is definitely what he needs. Decent club at decent level and may come back fitter and better.

Interesting. There was a report on here that he got injured in a friendly and the players told the fouling player he was about to join Burnley.

Don’t know much about him but Luton’s back line wasn’t the best last year and he’s still injured? Is he what we need?

He didn’t play between December and April last year - played less than half the games all told last season through injury.

Doesn’t appear to have played at all so far this season.

Would be an odd one, but he’s still quite young.

I get Delcroix will likely be moved on but that still leaves 7 which is crazy! Added to his pretty shocking injury record you just think why!

Humphreys can be challenging Hartman for the left back role, in addition to backup for LCB, so he's definitely one to keep.
Beyer probably out for the season.
Tuanzebe to replace/challenge Ekdal.

Worrall and Delcroix can be loaned out.

That would realistically leave:

Steve / Humphreys
Ekdal / Tuanzebe
+ Mengi

He’s not a profile for central centre back in a 5. Fine for RCB but we’ve got Tuanzebe and Walker for that. Mengi is a central centre back and played there for Luton in the PL.
