His manager won't play him because he's a dinosaur who prefers hard workers with no footballing ability. And he smokes 40 a day.KRBFC wrote:Why is Grosicki a sub for Rennes? It appears he hasn't started many games for them this season.

Judging by the fact he looks like Steve McDonald after a 7 day bender, it can only be assumed that the ability to kick a ball and get some clouds tattooed on your arm will result in attention from an aesthetically pleasing individual as the one you have pointed outSutton-Claret wrote:His missus is pretty tasty too.....

He will not be signing. Clearly unstable. He would be a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

He's a slippery f*cker if he can land a bit of skirt like that. Mind you, the bridesmaids are worth a squirt too. Sign him!

Re: Kamil Grosicki
We DEFINITELY need someone `different` who will put the opposition defence on the back foot, even better on their arses. We don`t really have anyone of that ilk (Gray perhaps). Grosicki certainly looks like he would fit the bill and appears to be able to play anywhere in midfield or up front. The notion that he would disrupt the dressing room is total dross. He would certainly excite the natives too and Turf Moor buzzing as we know is a HUGE asset. We DO have an incredible team ethos but in the second half of the season other team`s star players seem to turn it on and convert losses into draws and those draws into wins. I think we suffered with that in our previous forays in the Premier League. Personally think Hull are doomed but the likes of Swansea (who I think WILL be relegated) DO have a game-changer in Sigurdsson, Palace in Zaha and Benteke, Sunderland MAY have Defoe. Those teams and the others in the mix WILL throw money at it in January. ONE astute signing like Grosicki and A N other might see us survive. We will NEVER have a better chance.

Looks like it could be a case of "Money Talks" Boro will offer higher wages than us, and with the rumours about Grosicki, he needs all the brass he can get

Every time I hear a story about a player choosing Middlesborough I always think of Terry Cochrane who signed for them thinking it was closer to London

Depends which way you're going mate. If you're going via Edinburgh then over the top. It probably is!
Re: Kamil Grosicki
If we signed him I'd hope we had the pacey, skilful player we need.
If someone else signs him I hope he's the one decent game in six, petulant gambler who just needs money and will be disruptive to a dressing room.
Aitor Karanka is probably the best coach I can think of who could turn this into an expensive disaster. Here's hoping!

Re: Kamil Grosicki
I really hope we have a plan b if we're not in for him, of comparable quality!
Re: Kamil Grosicki
So ... playing squash tonight in central london and i was approached by a polish guy on the next court during a break and as usual had my Burnley top on, this guys brother is best mates with grosicki ...yeah yeah i thought sensing bullsh!t, but the guy really was in the know as i quizzed him and he was prepared to ring his brother up to prove it .... in summary, what happened at the last transfer deadline date is as follows..
1. Grosicki really wanted to come
2. He hasnt gambled for a year now and his debts are being properly managed by someone else but its not as high as reported
3. Rennes wanted €2m more at the very last minute amd thats why the deal fell through.
And now ....
1.He is waiting for Payet to leave and is looking to join West Ham.
I have no reason to doubt the guy, itmightbe bull, but we will see... especially if he joins West Ham

Be intersting if he does sign for West Ham although I expect the Payet sage to drag on until the final minutes.
