I'm surprised it's even televised. Any wife that tells their husband they've got them world darts championship tickets for Christmas only to find out its BDO should be a no strings attached divorce.

Only caught the final momemts of a couple of 1st round matches...got fed up with waiting.
Dire coverage
14 hours of televised coverage and only 5 proper matches completed.
As Barry Hearn said,if the women are good enough they can join the men.They are only throwing darts at a board It's not rugby.

I accidentally turned it on earlier and saw both players on averages of around 83-84. If the PDC is Premier League, then the BDO is around League One level.

It is when the PDC guys were averaging around 110 to 117

It was still OK at the final stage until Raymond Van Barneveld left to join the PDC, it's should switch to just include the top 16. It's like snooker (albeit that the top players in snooker aren't in a superior competition) the top 16 are ok but anyone below doesn't deserve to be there.
