Performances at both spurs and city were encouraging playing 442 and pressed them high so.would like the same game plan with the team as

I really like Tarkowski and I think it's probably time he was in the team. But I don't really see the point in playing him in defensive midfield. Surely Barton or Marney, specialists in that sort of role, would be more effective. If we're going to play Tarkowski, either try out a back three or bite the bullet and drop Mee/move Ben back to left-back and drop Ward. Play Tarks in his best position, where he'll be playing next season, or don't play him.

Tarkowski in midfield was OK as a last resort when we didn't have alternatives. We do now.
