1-0 away victory from promotion few years back. Stanislas (injured) turning up to ground in fancy car and attendant not letting him in as his name wasn't on the list. We showed attendant the match programme with his name on it but it made no difference.

Huddersfield away 80s - Trevor Steven literally crawling from the half way line to touch line badly injured because the knob of a ref wouldn't stop the game

An odd match played on a Tuesday when the season had finished everywhere else. The game was Burnley 0 Hull 2 which promoted Sheffield United, (Hull needed to win by 3 goals)

I can recall seeing it kick off in the longside with some United fans when Hull scored around 2 minutes in. On the pitch at the end some of the Sheffield fans were hugging Hansbury. It was also Billy Hamiltons last appearance in a Burnley shirt.

Singing "4-1" and you f***ed* it up" after they'd been singing the same to us an hour earlier about 1-0.

Highbury 1971: Clarets were struggling in the then 1st division, possibly already down. Arsenal were flying high, possibly already confirmed Champions. But Burnley ran rings around them for long periods with a superb display. Rather than get frustrated by their own team the HIghbury crowd sportingly applauded our moves and the North Bank even broke into a chant of "Burnley, Burnley" for a few moments. We ended up losing 1-0, but won a lot of respect.

Unsure if I remember this correctly but I'm pretty sure I remember Darren Purse being sent off for taking a chunk out of Andy Cole's leg then Cole proceeded to sprint down the tunnel to confront him?

That was the last league game of the season. Cardiff were in the cup final and the Welsh FA(f*"king arsenholes) over turned the red card so he could play. One final I didn't want either side to win.

The whole 1st team squad sitting in the same carriages and chatting with supporters on the League Liner coming back from West Ham. Paul Fletcher and a couple of others were playing poker with 2 or 3 fans. I know I couldn't afford the table stakes!
