Berahino finally gets a move

Post by summitclaret » Sat Jan 21, 2017 10:30 am

After cheating a wage for the best part of 2 years this money grabber has finally made his dream move (not) from WBA to Stoke, as reported on the BBC website. He went for £12m, much less than Spurs would have paid ages ago. Its a 5 1/2 year deal. Stoke must be hoping that he does not get fed up there anytime soon.

Maybe we can get rid of Bosman once we control our own laws and get a better balance between employees and employers.

Epitomised everything that is wrong with the modern game. I HONESTLY wouldn`t have wanted him in a Burnley shirt on a free. Obviously they`re not saints, but do we have ANY bad eggs in our squad? Kudos to Dyche and his predecessor for that.

I'm with Hiroshima on this. Wouldn't touch him even on a free. What good has this situation done for him and West Brom? They have half of what Spurs offered, and he has taken no more than a sideways step to sign for Stoke.
The whole sorry episode has been pointless. A real poke in the eye for Baggies supporters.

I hope his career goes downhill faster than Sordells. All clubs should avoid him and his agent.

Wba got £12million for a player who cba.

They haven't really needed him this season and they'll go sign someone else to take his place on the bench.

Credit to west brom. Theyve stuck to what they believe in. Didnt need to sell so didnt. Sure they have made less on him. Bit it shows they wont be bullied or have their hand forced as we have seen dealing with them. So the bigger picture is theyre a club that wont be bullied by others. Fair play.

Only downside in my eyes is it may put off other players coming. They know a club like ours will develop them and allow them to leave for bigger and better things. At west brom its more likely they will have to see out the contract they signed. But its about time this happened

I'm shocked that he's only 23. He seems to have been around for ages!

As others have said though, fair enough to WATERLOO for sticking to their guns. Players have too much power these days
