I think the board could have pulled a masterstroke in bidding for Snodgrass to tie up Brady.

Think your bob on the money there Snodgrass will want way, way more than I think we will pay wages wise and we are forcing Norwich hand.KRBFC wrote:I think the board could have pulled a masterstroke in bidding for Snodgrass to tie up Brady.
He a proven Premierleague player and they cost a premium above what our wages stretch too

Along with bumping up the price that some of our relegation rivals will have to now pay for Snodgrass which was a £7mil deal a few days ago.KRBFC wrote:I think the board could have pulled a masterstroke in bidding for Snodgrass to tie up Brady.
Could mean they cant now sign another of their targets with this deal now going up in price.

Re: Palace have agreed 9 million for Brady
Robbie Brady suits our system better, but both are super players.
If we get either I will be ecstatic, if we get both I will be delirious.

Palace gone 8/1 to sign Robbie Brady, Burnley now gone into 1/8 with Bookies.

Re: Palace have agreed 9 million for Brady
I honestly don't see us being able to afford Snodgrass' wage demands nor do I think we could compete with teams like West Ham, I think we bid for Snodgrass to pressure Norwich to sell Brady. If it didn't work with a Snodgrass bid accepted we have a fallback option in hoping with Snodgrass. I don't see us wanting both tbh, I've been surprised before so we'll see I guess.Reecey1987 wrote:Whose to say were not after both ?

Norwich set to sign Dutch left-back Marvin Zeegelaar in £3.5million deal from Sporting Lisbon
Zeegelaar, 26, was due in England on Wednesday for a medical and will replace Martin Olsson, who was sold to Swansea for £4m..........

Re: Palace have agreed 9 million for Brady
I had a back tooth removed this morning and have been in pain all day. The tooth removal has been fine, it's from the ups and downs of football speculation, thinking we are very close to a good signing, then as happens we are left in limbo again as another club could gazump us last minute.
I just hope the Brady deal goes our way and he's not the only player we get in before deadline day. I will be able to relax a little then, as the clubs plans aren't interrupted by transfer gossip for the rest of the season. Most of my day (my fault) is spent watching Sky transfer news and reading comments on here, in the hope there maybe some truth in the rumours and we get players in who will keep us up.

The only place offering odds, as far as I can see are Skybet, at 1/6 for him to sign for us. 4/1 Palace then 12/1 to stay at Norwich.
