I hope we stamp our authority on the league and scare our relegation rivals with a show of intent by signing both.
Just doing that will be worth a lot as clubs will suddenly sit up and think "oh sh*t.... These boys are serious" rather than put us under the "Forget those small timers who are no competition".

You should probably get on Brady to Palace at 8/1 then. Free money!

So in a nutshell, snodgrass wants to go to West Ham, Brady wants to go to Palace, and we're left holding the baby

Personally I think we're all getting ahead of ourselves. Lots of people still see us as 'Little Old Burnley', no matter where we are in the league. If West Ham came in and matched our bid then he'll be off to London before we can say Snodgrass. I won't be sure until either us or Hull tweet that we've signed him.

I think we have all realised Boro fans generally have delusions of grandeur. Funny read one quoting how nice Harrogate is....they obviously haven't heard of the A59. I worked in Ripley (North of Harrogate) and its a hell of a lot easier to get to East Lancs from there than to Middlesbro.
Time will tell but recent history leads me to take Boro fans with a pinch of salt, most I've encountered live in Cuckooland.

SkyBet odds are:
Snodgrass: WHU 5/6, BFC 9/4, Boro 7/2
Brady: BFC 1/6, Palace 4/1, Leicester 14/1

The Robbie Brady to Burnley thread has a comment on it "He just loves being relegated"

Why would he be going to Middlesbrough. Surely he would be travelling to darlington.

Snodgrass feels more like a West Ham type player.
Can we have Brady please??

Surely if we bid 10m and wet spam bid no more than 6 then we get him?
I appreciate West ham is more favorable than us but unless they agree a fee....

I think we'll sign Snodgrass, Brady and Grosicki. I've had a drink or two though so don't get too carried away by what I say.

Why are West Ham messing Brentford about over Hogan? Why haven't they done the Snodgrass deal? Just how dependent on the sale of Payet is their business? Are we the insurance policy for Snodgrass in the event of the chain breaking?
Tune in this time next week for the answers.

All 3 bookies now have West Ham odds-on favourites ranging from 2/5 to 1/4 to sign Snodgrass.

One thing we will never be able to compete with a young man who fancies the big Smoke. Think he may live to regret going to the Hammers if he does (a rocking ship) but hey ho!

If we get Brady then this is good for us IMO; we strengthen, Hull weaken and Boro don't get their man.
Fingers and toes crossed for Brady.

Looks like a done deal for them then. Fair enough; its a big name club with massive potential. Still think its a very dodgy time to be going though.... I have quite a few mates who are Hammers and they are far from happy bunnies at the moment.

There's been a few live that way. Clark Carlisle lived up near Rippon and travelled in.... about another half hour out of Harrogate.

When are they ever happy !?!? If their not whingeing about the manager their whingeing about moving stadiums, if their not whingeing about moving stadiums their whingeing about the style of play and not playing " the West Ham way", whatever that is. Nearly as deluded as Newcastle fans that lot.

He was their darling last season and they expected big things from him this season.
