Been a while since we got this far,who do we want? Rovers is the obvious choice but other than rubbing their noses in it we haven't really got anything to gain,it would be THEIR cup final
Anyone at home aside from Arsenal Chelsea Spurs Citeh or manure

Yes Lincoln, Sutton and the like....there's a reason for that... (rather than wanting one of the BigBoys)..and I' m gonna put it out there..
- believe it or not, we have a slim chance of winning the FA Cup this season.
We have I believe fairly recently beaten all of the remaining Big clubs except Arsenal and on our day we can beat any Engish team...we have a side and a style that is capable of keeping clean sheets and nicking one goal at the other end..
We will need a couple of fortunate draws and some luck, but we might just be at Wembley this season yet...UTC

Living in Lincoln I was at the game today as I was for the previous rounds v Oldham And Ipswich
At Sincil Bank they will have a chance against most teams except perhaps Chelsea Arsenal and the two Manchester Clubs
The Cowley brothers have set them up much in the same way Sean has set us up.
Tough team to beat at Sincil Bank

Any non Prem team at home but if away then Oxford / Millwall / Fulham.
Really want to avoid Barstewards, I never enjoy the games until the final whistle. (In recent years anyway)

That has got dodgy/risky tie written all over it, hasn't it?
Would be a new ground though..( never liked that part of London..dreary anonymous suburban).

Absolutely crazy to want Rovers home or away. (Obviously IMO).
It's great having this Cup run, and it's a good chance to utilize squad players, but people need to remember that there's still a lot of work to do in the PL, and the distraction of a big match such as this could have a detrimental effect on our approach to league games, although - in fairness - under Dyche - it probably wouldn't.
I honestly think that there are some of our supporters who would rather beat Blackburn in the cup than take maximum points off Sunderland, Hull and Swansea away.

Would like a lower league side away. Oxford would be good, Sutton would be great too! Blackburn at home could be tasty though...

Lincoln or Oxford at home would ensure an away sell out and a healthy home crowd, plus possible TV. It would also give us a chance to progress towards the semi final.
Blackburn at home would be a decent one for interest and a sell out, but the only club with anything to gain would be Blackburn, as someone stated above. It's 7 years since they beat us and we are unbeaten in 6 against them. We have the bragging rights full stop right now, so why wish to give that up for a while longer?

I think a defeat to B@st@rds, however unlikely that might seem, would have a more debilitating impact on us than any other defeat. For that reason I would rather avoid them this season.
And they should consider themselves very lucky to avoid us because, chances are, we'd give them a pasting.

Arsenal at home this early in the competition would give us an excellent chance to progress {they would play a weakened team} and get revenge.

So let's hope we avoid them for the next 20 odd years just so that we can sing that crap that they used to sing to us?
Why do you think that they will beat us? .............

Because it's a game that the fans and players would absolutely want to win. We would probably want to play our best eleven, and our entire focus once the draw was made would be the local derby, whereas our entire focus should be on securing another 14 /15 league points and we should just go out and enjoy the cup ties.
By contrast Blackburn would have absolutely nothing to lose, it would be a welcome distraction from their relegation battle and they would undoubtedly give us a very tough game.

Stop being so melodramatic.
Our entire focus is on the next game, as it always has since Dyche came here.
Burnley fans wanting us (at this moment in time) to hide away from them lot, you couldn't make that up.

Manchester United Away.
Fill the away end and frighten the tourists in the rest of the stadium.
Allow them 40+ shots (5 on target, Heaton to save all 5)
Win1-0 preferably in the 96th. Minute after 5 minutes of Fergie time...

There have been several notable occasions when he has fielded a weakened team in the Cup to rest key 1st team players for the league. Even this season his cup selections have been with one eye on the upcoming league fixtures.

Now you've moved the goalposts.
Our entire focus 'is' on the next game regardless of who plays.
You posted that if we were to draw Blackburn that our focus would be on that and not on what we had to do in the league.

Ok BOT. I'll just put it another way, I'd rather play a weakened team against Blackburn in the Cup, than away at Hull, Boro, Swansea or Sunderland, and although I'll be criticised by some on here:
I'd rather get 12 pts from those games and lose to Rovers if I had to choose between the 2.
(Of course nothing would give me greater pleasure than to give Judas and his team a real drubbing, but my head simply tells me that an "easy" home tie would serve us best in our PL campaign).
