Burnley Parkrun

Post by SQLclaret » Sun Jan 29, 2017 12:31 am

Great run today in the rain, I really appreciate the volunteers who encourage us to do this every week (wow what a difference its made to my life!!).
i can understand why people come from all around Lancashire for this one in the grounds of scenic Townley.

Agreed, it's great. Quite fancy trying the one at Colne. Apparently the route is bit tougher and you get fewer people.

My missus has done 44 park runs. The Colne one is a lot tougher than Townley. My father in law (who is 74) has just clocked up 150!

I've done Burnley a few times, although it can get a bit muddy in parts.

My local one is Dulwich in South East London.
