Both clubs receive £247,500 in broadcasting rights - that's a massive amount for Lincoln but incredibly now just a drop in the ocean for us.

To add to that, we've already earned £67,500 in prize money for beating Sunderland and £90,000 for beating Bristol City. The winners of this tie will receive £180,000 in prize money.

Be a nice gesture if both clubs agreed on a low price for tickets but we gave Lincoln our share of the gate receipts when you consider the money we will make this season.

Should stick to £10 and £5 then offer Lincoln the whole end.

We could play arse holes should they want big ticket prices and give them 3200. The extra 1000 at a a tenner a go would bump up the receipts.

With it being on TV and early, silly ticket prices may put a few off.

That's £585,000 you're talking about, still a huge amount of money to us. We're still trying to build a club that can compete at the highest level and thus every penny counts. I appreciate you mean in the scheme of things, but I still remember Barry Kilby walking to work in an attempt to raise funds to simply keep us going. Back then as you know, 585k would have meant the world to us. I firmly believe that we still need all the money we can raise.

I'm delighted if only because it's a big boost for Lincoln City. I know that a lot of their fans were worried they'd miss out on TV. I had a strong feeling it would be broadcast - too tasty a fixture to turn down :)

We would be crazy to change the current arrangements. Do we really want 4000 noisy and exciteable Lincoln fans in that end making lots of noise? I am reading that the current away allocation satisfies the minimum requirement. Just give them that. Charge the 10/5 again and im sure we would have a healthy crowd. 14000 Burnley fans attended the Bristol City game. 600 from Bristol. If you add another 2000 Linclon fans that is up to 16000 already and that is without any extra Burnley fans. Add to that the logistical problems with the stand as it is now and I can't see us giving them anything other than the standard amount.

Some on their site seem to think they will get tickets in our end. Won't be easy to do with our system as it is surely?

Have we any need to give them the whole stand? IMO no. Think they are going to be disappointed.

Logistical nightmare, the police would also veto such a proposal.

Instead we could give Lincoln the whole of the CFS and fill the other 3 sides with our support, especially if ticket prices are sensible.

We wouldn't give Manchester United 7500 tickets so why on earth do titchy non league Lincoln City think we would give them that amount?
2400 same as everyone else and love to see them try and snap up home tickets.

Would be poor form by us if we just give them 2,500 tickets IMO. Can just imagine all the whingeing and moaning on here if we were in their shoes and got such a small allocation. We may as well get the ground filled, the stupid kickoff time and live coverage will put plenty of our fans off, do we really want a half empty ground?

Is it really worth handing over the stand that has given us such a good atmosphere to please a set of opposition fans. We were drawn at home don't forget. Our advantage...why should we help to give that away?

Poor form my arse - why don`t we go the whole hog and give the minnows a couple of goals start ?

Rules say 15% of capacity to away team in FA Cup I think....give them not a seat more.

Whilst we are at it make sure they have not hot running water in the away changing room and hide 5 pound of old fish in the ceiling.

We want to win this game not help them achieve a giant killing.

Give them the CFS. Its their day, just as it was when we got big away cup draws in the 90s and beyond. Everyone expects them to come and make a racket, so let them. We cant seriously be concerned ir would tip the tie in their favour - no room for complacency but it really oughtnt make a difference.

The only other options seem to me to be giving them the Bob Lord as well as the current away end in the CFS, which would be interesting for the directors, and possibly giving them the whole jimmy mac and giving us the whole CFS, which might be interesting but a tad disorientating for the kids it would force out of the family stand.

Do we really want to give them the opportunity to control the atmosphere by giving them the whole CFS - lunch time kick offs are notoriously quite for our lot - they will be partying like mad with all that sound reverberation and as one of them has put it on their mb

Now we are nailed on to win. We have a 100% win record in matches played live on BT Sport on a Saturday kicking off at lunchtime. Pleased it's still on the Saturday.

You mean like the 9,000 Wolves fans didn`t help their team ?

Of course a bigger following inspires the team.

Will it make the difference on the pitch ? It should not of course - but why would we risk it having any impact ?

Standard 2400 tickets for me. As above we were drawn at home. If it was at their place would we expect to get more than the minimum amount?

I could understand it if we were expecting a total lack of interest on our part. However 14000 at the last game suggests we are interested if the prices are kept at 10/5. Some pure fantasy ideas on here. Giving them some of the Bob Lord? Really? How would that work segregation wise and outside the ground? Bizarre.

We will be quiet even if we do have our usual section of the cricket field stand. Always a rubbish atmosphere for early kickoffs, and a lot of our fans will be turning up just expecting to win easily. We should be capable of beating Lincoln at home no matter how many tickets we give them.

15% is basically the CFS.

We had 14,300 home fans v Bristol City. We are not one round closer to Wembley, plus have a nice interesting tie against a club we don't get to see every season, unlike Bristol City who we played last year, so I can't see much less than 16,000 home fans, so if we're wanting people to bring families and friends again then we won't be giving Lincoln the entire end?

Give them the 2,430 normal allocation for me, and have our fans in that stand. Their fans who attend will enjoy the experience more if they're singing against the Burnley fans.

I don't want us to slip up Andy u derestimate them either, so business as usual for me.

I am sure CT said something along those lines earlier in the season when it was brought up with another game. I am sure the set up is such now that there is only a small door between the fans underneath. The access is also from the side of the James Hargreaves for the section we have. The police won't allow that.

It is the 5th round of the FA Cup and a fantastic chance to get to the quarters..I really can't see it being half empty and that is allowing for TV. Price dependant of course.

You're onto something here. Why don't we ask them if it goes to a replay how many tickets they'd give us and match that figure. Probably about 1500.

Forget Sunderland and Bristol City, we are now one game off an FA Cup Quarter Final if Burnley fans can't get up for that no matter who we are playing or whether it's on TV or not we don't deserve the effort Dyche and the boys are putting in.

Isn't it the competition rules that we have to allocate a certain percentage of tickets to the away fans if they ask for them? I'm sure in the FA Cup that percentage is higher than the Premier League.

The decision may well be taken out of our hands.

Yes and the atmosphere was terrible. It was either silent or just away fans having a cracking day out. Since our fans went in there the match day experience all over the ground is 100 times better.

And do you know what I hope Lincoln have a **** day out at Turf Moor and leave on the end of right bloody good hiding.i want to see my team in the Quarter Finals of FA Cup.

The away side can claim up to 15% provided it is in a fully segregated area. They'll get 2400 in the cricket field stand.

1) Since we have had our fans in there we have seen a remarkable upturn in out home record and the atmosphere in the ground has improved immensely. Maybe co-incidence but i prefer to think not.

2) The stand was adapted and segregated. This has meant access is now from opposite sides for opposite fans. I am led to believe there is only a small door/access in the partition underneath so Lincoln fans would need access from both sides..one side being a main route/access for Burnley fans to the James Hargreaves. I really doubt the police will allow that. So unless the partition underneath is sorted it would be difficult for them to have it all anyway. This is the biggest reason IMO.

3) We have home advantage. Allowing them to fill this stand (as we have seen in the past) allows them to dominate the atmosphere with it being the noisiest stand. Why allow that?

4) We just don't have to.

They want to permission to bring an air raid siren as well FFS. Perhaps give them the home changing room as well. They've sold Theo Robinson perhaps lend them Gray for the day.

I can see where you're coming from, believe me I was as ****** of as anyone about giving away fans the best stand in the ground. But the atmosphere in there for the Bristol game was poor, can't see it being much better for the Lincoln game especially with the early kickoff. Plus as long as Dyche puts our strongest team out and the players are up for it we should beat them comfortably no matter how many tickets we give them.

If needs be, they can sort the segregation thing out by requiring home supporters to walk round and giving the path down the cricket field to lincoln fans in that side of that end. Ir give them the Bob Lord.

Realistically, leaving ourselves 16,500 tickets is plenty. We can do this with class, be good hosts and enhance our reputation. Or we can be awkward, miserly bastards.
