It does include foreign rights, but wherever we finish we will has received more money than Leicester got for winning the title last season.

Finishing mid table is worth an extra £20m, which basically covers Brady and Westwood if we were to finish there.

Club's finishing in the top 4 get an extra £40m, plus then the minimum £10m which comes from Vhampions League group stages alone. No wonder they go around throwing £40m+ on players.

Regarding Michael Keane as well, Everton will likely Finish 7th or 8th, so will have around £30m more than the bottom club, not Inc normal income streams. They can afford Keane at £25-30m.

It just shows how your club and squad can change from staying up for a season or two. Relating it to our neighbours, if they go down and we stay up then the pendulum would have swung full tilt from the 90's.

Should we stay up for a couple seasons the key to creating a long term sustainable top flight club is to grow our non-TV related revenue through commercial & sponsorship deal, match day revenue and smart transfer dealing.

If you look at those distribution figures the single biggest element is the overseas broadcasting payment which is shared equally between all participating clubs - however there are some who have long called for that to be distributed "more fairly" or sold by clubs individually - this has been voted out in the past - but the recent resignation of Ian Ayre at Liverpool has highlighted that some clubs are still hankering for more.

Clubs need to be vigilant as they would be at a significant disadvantage if this desire was too become a reality
