Other than Sean Dyche in recent history David Baldwin is the best thing that's happened to our club. HE GETS IT !

Said on the other thread, those who are worried about them moving home fans from the Cricket Field Stand going forward can rest easy.

Nah
We have been given a total allocation of 3,210 tickets for the game. These will be for the David Fishwick Stand which is located behind the goal.

Reading this I'm delighted they've been given far less than they wanted. Getting really uppity on their board. We're '**** pot' and the allocation is described as 'garbage'. Also claims that there will be 5 - 7,000 empty seats and that Lincoln fans will be in the home ends. I had no idea we were playing a club of this magnitude, I thought they were a ****house non league outfit.

We'll probably have 700/800 seats, so not all ST holders will get seats. That's why it's 1st come 1st served on sale at 9.15am tomorrow.

Can't believe we are not giving Lincoln 15,000 tickets. I am in my car crying typing this. How cruel and arrogant we have become in spoiling their big day. This would never have happened under Frankie T's watch.

I hope maybe a minutes applause could be organised for the Lincoln fans who won't now be allowed to attend?

Lincoln fans are absolutely fuming about this. The full CFS was the most they were ever going to get, so they're arguing over about 800 tickets? Daft.

I would hope that with the very sensible £10 tickets, seven straight wins at home and so few home games coming up we get a really big crowd for this, if not sell out, despite it being on telly. Not much more the club could do to get people in.

Agree not much else the club could do but at the end of the day we are playing Lincoln. That'll be the reason it doesn't sell out.

Think Cliff Edens was probably also heavily involved in this. Cliff was behind the move to the CFS with David and Doug Metcalfe.

Fair play this is probably the best the club could do. Allows ST's the option to remain in their stand if not seat, gives Lincoln the max we had to and we still have four corners of the ground.

A few years ago we would have bent over and give Lincoln what they wanted and probably a bit more.

Well done Burnley FC.

Good news. Wasn't expecting to be allowed in my own seat so pleased about that.

As for Lincoln, they get less than 4K at home games. It'd be like us kicking off in 09 for not getting 13k away at Chelsea. Ridiculous.

Well done Burnley Football Club. Excellent pricing and a fair allocation for Lincoln - despite being called City, I think that many of them were getting a little ahead of themselves demanding 7000 tickets!!! The Cricketfield season ticket holders deserved the right to be able to go in the stand for this game.

'No doubt we could sell a 7,000 allocation - but it looks like plod have got the wind up themselves.

Still, hopefully the next round will be away at a ground with an easier access to a much larger area for our away fans.... And a more modern approach from plod.'

Quite an arrogant bunch of non league supporters this lot.

I agree with some of the comments on the Lincoln forum, I mean, how dare we, as a top flight club deny a non league club and their hordes of travelling supporters all the tickets they demand. I think we should give them the whole of the CFS and the J Hargreaves stand, and we should be meekly shepherded towards the J Mac stand and Bob Lord.

And pay for their travel. And free beer in town for good measure. Oh, and apologies profusely that they have to come to scruffy old Burnley.

And breathe. A club with 1500 season ticket holders I repeat 1500 season ticket holders are furious at an away allocation of 3200. If the 7000 ticket request they've made is correct we've disappointed 3800 holidaymakers!

Obviously some of them are going to be miffed, it's their cup final, just like it was against Brighton and Ipswich.

Citing their attendances is a nonsense for a non league side in the 5th round of the FA Cup.

We can demand 15% as they have done to us. So we should get 1520. Won't come to that though you would hope.

Agreed BOT but neither is quoting our attendances for previous rounds like the Lincoln fans are on Social media. I sense a high percentage of Burnley Fans are up for this FA Cup malarky now...

Didn't expect us to announce while I was watching the Wigan v Sheff Wed game :D

Given Lincoln's allocation - not sure we could have done it better than this. I didn't realise we would have been able to do it and still have some home fans in the cricket field stand.

They are fixated on us being in the "away end" and keep mentioning that they have seen pictures of Villa & Cardiff filling the whole stand.

They don't seem to realise hat we don't have an away end but an away section even though it's been explained to them numerous times

Probably the best option all round, be interesting to see how it is segregated, one things for sure if there are any "incidents" if we were to draw a bigger team in the next round the police may put a stop to it.

As for the price Lincoln have to be applauded for agreeing to our prices, they could have insisted on a higher price like Karen Brady accused us of doing when we played West Ham at this stage a few years ago.

Geeeesh, reading comments from their fans it's like we are playing Barca not Lincoln. I agree with a poster above, we should give them as many tickets as they want (all 22,000 to be fair as that's how many they can "easily" sell) and probably should tell SD and the team to go easy on them too. Maybe play a weakened team, nay, maybe just play with 8 players so the Lincoln fans have the best day out they (for some reason) fully deserve.

I will stop watching Burnley if we have the audacity of wanting to pan the crap out of Lincoln. How dare we want to get through to the QF of the FA cup. I can feel Blackburn style protests if we beat them.

Lincoln may carry on whingeing about this, maybe they'll just shut up. Time will tell but this reminds me of an FA Cup tie we had in the 81-82 season against Altrincham. They saw themselves as something better than us at the time; we were in our second season in Div.3 and though they were non-league had built a reputation for themselves as FA Cup specialists with notable games against much higher profile teams than us( on one occasion I went to watch a replay at Maine Rd.against Spurs in front of 40,000 plus). Altrincham spent most of the time pre-game having 'a dig' at Burnley. I think there was a reaction in our team who won the game 6-1. Non-league or not I thoroughly enjoyed the victory.

Some of the Lincoln fans are moaning that the prices are too cheap! You couldn't make this up. Lincoln fans are giving Blackburn fans a run for their money on the deranged scale. I hope we stuff them 8-0 now.

So looks like there will be around 800 seats available in the CFS for home fans. How many season-ticket holders do we currently have in there ?

Still not clear about the practical arrangements, are the steel barriers movable so as to allow 800 more on their side and 800 less on ours ?
