Any of you interested in the boxing??
I am a big fan of it; however, the build up to this one has gone too far. I know they need to /

Yeah; Haye will win I reckon. Too big for Bellew to hurt.

I hope they both take a wild swing in the first round both to connect and both KO.

After the fight they'll be all hugs and respect in my opinion.
Before the fight as you say they do anything to get interest and sell tickets/PPV sales.
Honestly think the fight will last for however long Haye wants it to last for, against people like Joshua etc Haye is out of their league but Bellew hasn't got the chin to handle his power.
Personally think no more than 4 rounds.

I'm looking forward to good night's boxing. All this pre fight talk does go a bit far but it's all money in their pockets from ppv sales.

I'm hoping Haye gets knocked out.
Mind you if he loses he will probably claim he was injured before the fight.

I assume it's going to be on Sportsmania/Sportsnation.
Haye is far too powerful for Bellend - as stated above, I think he will punish him
for as long he feels justified and then subject him to the final humiliation of a
good hiding.
Could be wrong, mind.

The one I am really looking forward to is on 23rd April with Manny Pacquiao vs Khan.
Now that will be one hell of a contest - got to admire the bravery of Khan, if
nothing else. Hope he gets pasted, which I think he will.

Pacman v Khan, 2 years ago a mismatch. Now a probable mismatch still.
If Khan gets hit with one of Pacmans best shots I worry for his health. Remember what he did to Hatton?? And he could take a punch

The joys of a dodgy box.
I admire Hayes skill set ( of old ) but can't stand his trash talk. At least Tyson Fury is funny with his.
Don't have much time for Bellew either, Bellew is European level at best.
The question is what Haye turns up. From what Iv seen Haye now appears to hit harder than previously but lost a touch of explosiveness. If the timings there Bellew will get blown out early.
If Haye looks the part I'd love to see him mince up Wilder next.
More looking forward to the Thurman Garcia match if I'm honest.
With regards to Khan hope he gets cleaned out by pacman after the stunt he pulled with Brook.

Another PPV with nothing at stake, no title ? another fight where one fighter is out of his comfort zone weight wise - have we not been here before with these weight mismatches ?? Khan v Canelo - Brook v GGG - now this !!! other week Eubank Jnr 1/50 to win on on PPV. but trust me theres nobody more gullible than the british public they will buy anything especially if brainwashed by these staged press conferences, war of words amd constant sky adverts !!!!!
My view Haye win and then Bellow hoping Cleverley wins his rematch and the "bellowing war of words" will start for a cruiserweight belts winner takes all -................................oh forgot on sky PPV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gained a lot more reapect for Brook when he junped in and took Eubank Jrs deal for GGG after Eubank spent ages messing around.
Great interview with Hearn on youtube which talked about it with a brilliant insight into how boxers now run their own shows which is why they do all this hyping up before a fight.

Haye vs bellew is a strange one for me. If haye hadn't been retired all that time, I'd say haye by ko/tko. Can't say I like bellew very much. So I'd be happy for haye to take this contest.

Re: The boxing this weekend - can't see a thread. . .
David Haye is a strange character, he's clearly a very talented boxer but to me has spent his career conning boxing fans. Every decision he makes involves minimizing risk to the nth degree and some of his fights have been nothing short of laughable. Audley Harrison - speaks for itself, Monte Barrett/John Ruiz/Tomaz Bonin - old and washed up, Mark de Mori/Arnold Gjergjaj - would probably lose a scrap down The Oxford on a Saturday night. The one fight he actually stepped up properly was Klitschko and he ran for the entirety before wheeling out the weak excuses. That said, his excellent salesmanship and 'trash talking' still ensures the casuals buy this garbage and he makes money hand over fist.
The fight tomorrow follows this pattern and is just as big a mismatch as the above. I fully expect Haye to knock Bellew's head off, after all Bellew has been dropped and stopped in the past by blown up Super-Middleweights. I'll probably put a tenner on Haye in round 3 and watch it via stream so I don't put any more money in his pocket. The question is where does he go after this? Surely he'll have to fight a 'name' in the division (Wilder/Joshua/Ortiz or even Dillian Whyte), however I wouldn't be surprised if he lined up another non-entity who barely has a pulse.

Knowing Haye it wouldn't surprise me if he somehow made that commercially viable, maybe ramp up the trash talking and press conference shenanigans to an 11/10 whilst simultaneously scrapping the undercard and getting one of his mates to DJ like he did for his last fight.MACCA wrote:Can fight me for 500k

Valuev wasn't great, possibly one of the most immobile boxers I've ever seen and the fight before he lost to Haye he'd only just scraped past a 46 year old Evander Holyfield via a dubious majority decision - his USP was his bizarre appearance and freakish height.FactualFrank wrote:To be fair, he did take on Valuev, who probably would have knocked him out had he been hit once.

I'm no expert at all on boxing, but surely Haye's going to win. I watched that Kel Brook fight when he fought the Russian guy who was bigger than him. It's entertaining for a bit, and you've got to admire the courage of it. But when the bigger guy starts hitting him back, it's over pretty fast.
'A good big 'un beats a good little 'un.. etc'. I might watch it on kodi if it doesn't clash with MoTD.

If you look on your programs section and see if you have the add on installer add on ...... Then use that to search for Zem. The sports bit on there is brilliant.
Is there a particular sports link on Zem you use as I watched on mama hd before and 1 game was excellent, the other buffered and froze every 2 or 3 minutes aswell as kicking me out half a dozen times.
I'm thinking of getting a hard wired box soon as people say it's far better quality than using WiFi and firestick .
I only use the stick for Burnley away games if I dont go, and pay per view boxing , but the quality is very hit and miss
