We don't need to win away. 2-3 draws would suffice, just. There's nothing in our performances at home to suggest we can't get 5-6 points from those games.

We aren't that bad away from what I've read on here.
I think you're about the only person who's stating we WILL go down.
Are you looking forward to it by any chance?

Burnleycyst, don't say we that's not true, and the only simple things on this board are your moronic statements.

Not sure whether this has been mentioned in the thread, but the below link in theory is a stats geek website that has very cleverly predicted we will finish 9th - without getting more than 1 point away from home
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football ... tgalleries
I'm quite fond of saying that "lies damn lies and statistics" is completely wrong - stats are always correct, but the modelling done with them and the interpretation of them usually isn't. That website is a prime example

. Obvious how they've done it and obvious why it's wrong.
Feels nice though.

A far worse Burnley team got three away wins last time out. I'd be happy with that return.

In all honesty we probably won't win an away game all season. I've seen most of them so far and it's just not the same players who turn out as we see at home. I don't understand why, but they just look pale shadows of what we see at the Turf. And there is STILL a very real possibility that it could cost us so dearly that we go down. What bothers me even more than the lackluster performances away from home is the number of goals we have conceded in stoppage time (home and away and in BOTH halves too). Every team concedes and odd one here and there, but we've turned it into an art form!! It's ridiculous!

In all honesty we COULD have beaten a distinctly average Hull team, but we didn't. For Sunderland it's becoming a cup final which even they will fancying with our record on the road.

Sunderland will be targeting the Burnley game as a real chance to start turning things round and they have every reason to. One win can be all it takes.

We make it far to easy for opposition coaches. They know it's long ball and hope for a flick. Simple. Our style of play dictates that we only see midfielders as players who pick up scraps possession is a waste of a launched ball.

Even if Sunderland do turn us over I agree it may not be enough for them to turn things round and save themselves, but it could potentially put us in a very precarious position alongside them. We kind of did a similar thing to Hull last time in the PL. We didn't save ourselves, but to some extent we caused their downfall too.

We did really well in the transfer market but I was hoping we would bring in a quality centre forward with a bit of pace, good feet and some height. For that sort of quality he wouldn't have come cheap but could have made all the difference, especially away from home. Maybe we had interest in some and for whatever reason it wasn't to be. If we can stay up I'm sure the Manager will be on it.

Just watched Match of the day and ignoring the goal we should not have had their third goal was a foull on Mee and I think Tom would have saved it. Though from what i saw on MOD Robinson was like a fish out of water.
Swansea are a very good side and let's hope they beat Hull next weekend

You really think we should be spending 25-30 million on a single player as that's how much half decent strikers cost?
And how would a quality centre forward have helped us defend better than we did yesterday? 2-1 up with 25 mins to go.
Andre scored twice yesterday btw.

Spijed. I was thinking more like Crouch, tried and tested, probably still cost but affordable.

I'd convinced myself that our poor away form was mainly due to the team's we'd played, but failing to beat hull and then being totally outclassed by Swansea has kind of shot that argument!
But there's always Sunderland!....

William Hill are offering 25/1 on us being relegated. You could make yourself a fortune, although somehow I doubt it.

I'm not sure Peter Crouch is the answer to our problems Beddie.
We lack a quality number 10 (Danny Ings or Jay behind Gray would be a wonderful upgrade on Vokes), players who can thread a pass.
I think Crouch would make us even more direct, despite being an interesting shout. Can you imagine Karanka if we signed him
The best signing might be the recruitment of a quality coach who gets the best out of our wingers, as an attacking force.

I wouldn't be surprised if we won at anfield. It's something that we'd do and something that Liverpool do.
I do think we'll survive this season. Just. Next season is going to be a huge battle though. They say that the second season is more difficult and I think the bottom clubs will be much stronger.

Another dreadful away performance which Dyche has to take the blame for.
Still think we will go down some of our players are just simply not good enough its that simple our full midfield is garbage and we have overspent hugely on Brady.

Not dreadful but yet again we're totally deserving something - probably even shading the game overall - and come away pointless away from home. Without the **** equaliser they're struggling. Second goal is again out of nothing. It's deeply frustrating that we're casuing problems for teams and defences but just don;t have the final bit of quality to capitalise.
I've been thinking for a while that the away win is coming but after a run of games where arguably we should have taken more points we're struggling time after time. I think we will get enough points to stay up but not sure we will win away.

I really don't want to be right, but I think if we do stay up it'll be close. We'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season. It's depressing, but that's the way it goes. We couldn't buy a win at the moment.

The away form is now of such huge proportions it's starring in a cinema near you alongside Samuel L Jackson.
