Gray did really well today. Scored the pen, scored a good goal and nearly scored another. All that from almost none existent service.

He could be great in a creative team.

Give the lad a break. Wait till he's "Dyche" fit.

Think you need to take your claret specs off. Absolutely nothing wrong in stating we were poor and deserved nothing today. Swansea were clearly the better team

It may be a simple concept. But it's also blindingly obvious that the tactic isn't working. Sam Vokes is wasted if you don't put crosses into the box. Boyd is the epitome of Dyche's tactics. But he was defensively at fault for 2 goals. So why not change tact and try and put the opposition under pressure in stead

Garbage away from home. Doubt we will win away all season. Dyche cannot set us up properly. Doubt he will be that highly sought after in the Premier League.

We are awful away because of the lack of options up front when they do get the ball down. At home a couple will try and support, away they all just hold their defensive positions expecting the ball coming back at them.
This is a mindset problem.
As we are losing away why not just go for it SD and at least let the travellers see we've given them a show.

We're midtable in the Premier League, seems like it's working to me.

It's a clear foul on Mee but it's just one of those that's never going to be given in injury time for some reason.

Not sure what Robinson's getting criticism for, doubt Heaton or Pope would have stopped any of their goals, quality finishing (and fouling for one of them).

Gray had 2 chances and flashed one across for Vokes, that aside I don't think we created anything else in 90 minutes. Swansea were good but we were dour, we didn't deserve the point.

It's March. We have only scored 4 goals from open play away from home all season. We have 2 away points to show for it. Our tactics away from home are not working. Not by a long shot.

Our remaining home games are against Spurs, Stoke, Man U, WBA, WHU. We aren't safe yet. We might still be 9 points away...

I'm not saying we should be calling emergency meetings etc etc. But after 7 months Dyche still hasn't worked out what is going on away from home. Tactically inept? No. Tactically limited? Probably...

What difference does it make where the points come from?

Agree with most of that. But I very much doubt that we will need 9 more points to be safe. More like 4 or 5 I would say.

I agree, it doesn't. But let's assume we are in the PL next season. If we can't get points away from home, we are relying entirely on our home form. This season we have beaten Liverpool and Everton, and taken points off Chelsea at home. We have also hit late winners against Palace, Leicester, Southampton and Middlesbrough. Some deserved of course, but there is an element of luck here. Of course the luck works both ways, we were unlucky against Arsenal and Hull to a certain extent, but we could easily be 10 points worse off at home. We have 31 points because we have been on the right side of fine margins. Being so reliant on this is dangerous. And it could prove costly. Maybe not this season. Maybe not next season. But if we don't work out how to pick up points away from home, the buffer could disappear. As soon as we lose that bit of luck, we will be struggling

Boyd would not have played today if JBG had not been butchered by Lincoln - Dyche is trying to change things but when the players brought in to enable that change are injured what can he do

did think we were crap though

Missed Dean Marney today. He'll be a big miss for the rest of the season.

Robinson played with his eyes shut he was clutching at straws for there second goal should of never got through him he's a big guy and he was very susceptible to getting down shot were raining him and his ability to position himself left a lot to be desired
On this showing only tells why he hasn't played top flight football for 4 years and only shows what a good keeper we have in Heaton
Not making him the scapegoat here because we never deserved anything and too many players were off the metal today very disappointing display.

Burnley were poor today. It was like a premier league side against a league 1 side. Dyche really does need to look at preparation for away games. Like most fans I will never boo the players and I do have realistic expectations, but today we just did not compete. There us sn issue with mentality and team selection. If the regular first team is not producing , then change it. Or change the tactics.
