If their political comments are as far off course it's no wonder that Jeremy won the Labour party leadership race.
I feel sorry, and worried, for anyone sad enough to read it.

It's a bad article but Dyche is a little bit Brexit. Lost count the amount of times he implies no-one likes him coz he's English when the truth is he gets a lot of credit from the media.
Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
I find the thread (header) to be beyond the pale. So I've taken matters into my own hands and reported it to the Bristol apostrophe vigilante.

Well I take your point about the historical fascism, but we are in 2017 and in 2017 the people of Gibraltar want to continue to be British, as did the Falkland Islanders. I don't have an issue with that. The hypocritical bit would be a comparison of Gibraltar to Scotland. If the populace of Scotland actually wants to leave the UK, then they should have their own way.ablueclaret wrote:Fancy the Daily Mail might take unkindly to Dover being a Spanish territory, we are completely hypocritical about all the far flung places which our empire building has left as strategically important outposts of British fascism.
If Dover was Spanish and wanted to stay Spanish, then would we (excluding Daily Mail readers) really be trying to "get it back"? Probably not. It would be a good place to get cheap booze etc. Dover is pretty UKIP/leave heavy, so I doubt that was the best town to have picked................
Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
I see that IT has done his usual "you are an idiot" stuff before first checking his facts. Unusual for him.
With regard to Gibraltar and abc and his fascist comments; I wonder how many fascist countries allow their satellites not one but two referendums to see if they want to remain part of the once glorious British Empire.
Bit of a red letter day with both IT and ABC getting their knickers in an XYZ.

I once knew Dover reasonably well. If you take away conversations abouttimshorts wrote: Dover is pretty UKIP/leave heavy, so I doubt that was the best town to have picked..
A) The French
B) The North
C) PC gone mad
D) Tattoes, rings, mobiles and chains.
E) Made up stories from Brussels.
Then I'd have been surprised if the locals had anything to talk about.

Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
So the journalist tries to embellish his point by stating:
One of the above is dead and the other hasn't managed a team for almost 15 years, kind of proves Dyche's point really. It’s worth taking a look at the last two English managers to be considered for “massive” jobs: Bobby Robson, who gave Jose Mourinho his start in football, and Terry Venables, the last Englishman to coach the national team with anything resembling nous and verve.
Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
Dyche does moan "because I'm English" so I think the article is spot on in regards to putting Dyche in his place and saying "it's not because you're English, it's because like Aidy Boothroyd you have a promotion and a relegation on your CV and you play the worst brand of football ever to be seen"

Edit the whole post because as usual you are incorrect.
Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
He moaned about not receiving the recognition because he is English. That's a fact, how can a fact be incorrect?Bin Ont Turf wrote:Edit the whole post because as usual you are incorrect.
Dyche having a relegation and promotion on his managerial CV is also a fact. Argue with the facts, not me.

I can't believe I'm typing this but I agree with KRBFC. A little bit. Dyche has definitely criticised the media for praising foreign managers and not English/British managers. It was about Conte and diets and the system he plays and Dyche got a massive bee in his bonnet and brought it up in almost every interview for at least a month. Remember him on 5Live, in the studio, talking about it on the Friday football show with Mark Chapman. The Football Weekly podcast lot pulled him up on it too. It was definitely a thing that happened. And it was a bit cringeworthy.
Many journalists tout Dyche as one of it not the manager of the season. The likes of Guardiola, Klopp and Conte get a bit more recognition though because erm they're better managers.

Re: Sean Dyche is a right wing xenophobe and hes crap
What's Pep done to suggest he's a brilliant manager? Bit like Brendan Rodgers at Celtic - easy when you already have the best team. He's not done that well so far this season to suggest he's going to be a success in the Prem.HelloHiGoodbye wrote:I can't believe I'm typing this but I agree with KRBFC. A little bit. He said better than Dyche not brilliant. To question Pep's brilliance is mind blowing though.Spijed wrote:What's Pep done to suggest he's a brilliant manager? Well, aside from Readl Madrid in Spain who else was he competing against?KRBFC wrote:He said better than Dyche not brilliant. To question Pep's brilliance is mind blowing though.
The Prem is far more unforgiving and it's showing in their performances.

Incorrect.moaned
It all stems from when Dyche was talking about how Guardiola had banned junk food at Man City and Conte had brought hard running into Chelsea training, and how some of the media had made a big thing of them both as though it was revolutionary. Both of which Dyche brought in place several years before both had come to this country.
The perception of the media is what he was talking about, not moaning about how he's not put on a throne with a crown on his head.
He has two promotions actually, and you may want to remember that when you're posting nonsense about him on here.
Any road, off to the footy in ten minutes and hope not to see you on here later on tonight because it will mean that we've won.

Atletico would win the PL imo, unfair to judge him, barely got his bags unpacked and he didn't exactly take over a league winning squad of players.Spijed wrote:Well, aside from Readl Madrid in Spain who else was he competing against?
