What's the crack with Nelson curryhouses?

Me and our lass love the pakistani curryhouse style of say the Kashmir or the Karachi in Bradford, is there anywhere in Nelson that's decent along those lines?

I suppose you could extend that radius to include the rest of the Burnley surrounding area.

Always thought that the curry places around Burnley were distinctly average, and really catering for bland tastebuds,

Adams is brilliant. Its only a little cafe, at the side of hayhursts camera shop. So its not a restaurant as such. But the curries are spot on and proper desai style curries.

There is another one similar round the corner which used to be theirs. Also good. Forget its name now. Green building.

Spice of India is in Nelson but havent been there in years. Wasnt great last time.

Think someone else has mentioned Adams to me before. Much prefer the cafe vibe to a restaurant, often more a focus on food than decor in cafes. I'll defo try and give that a go soon.

Assume the green one is the sweet centre. Looks as though it'd be good, sweet centres often are.

No thats Mansha. Although they do curries too. I can only vouch for their kebabs, samosas etc (and sweets).

Cant remember the green one at all. Will have a look tomorrow. Its down the street next to Mansha though. Runs down the hill. Adams is the other side.

Some of the curries can be a little greasey but they are very nice. Nothing like your typical Indian takeaway or restaurant round here. In fact I could eat one now!!!

Samosa hut in Burnley is a grotty little takeaway / cafe. You wouldnt dream of eating from there unless you knew how good their curries are too

Those places I mention in Bradford look terrible, smell terrible, the service is rude, but the food is utterly amazing, and cheap as chips. I don't give a toss about presentation and nice decor. I want good food.

A quick streetview sken shows Al Niamat as being the green one you mention.
