Don't often agree with ABC, but he's got a point here.
Besides SD's undoubted merits, he's failed to address the away day blues by sticking to the same formula too often, and in particular by failing to make either pro-active or reactive substitutions in time.
That's a shame because, contrary to last seasons, we now have enough quality on the bench to impact games.

The only factual part of it is that Danny Ings scored a screamer at Yeovil other than that I'm afraid it all imagination.
Did have an uncle who lived in Nelson in the 1960's and my dad went to Burnley Grammar in the 30's but the nearest I've ever lived to Burnley is Ellesmere Port.

Nelson was a wonderful place to visit as a child though with its cobbled streets, lovely Victorian park and great sweet shops. Besides going to Turf Moor with my dad the highlight was buying a tortoise appropriately called Nelson who sadly did not take to Southern climes.

If your friend had been taking proper account of what I say on here he would have known I spent most of my married life in Somerset.

Best manager in years.Won promotion twice and kept us up.We are not Watford we don't sack managers who succeed.
Only issue with me is Sean's, at times , use of subs.This needs working on for next season's European push.

I do agree quite often with many of abc`s concerns. We are going to be staying up though, barring a catastrophic set of results so Dyche does need to be given a HUGE pat on the back. I for one hardly gave us a chance of staying up (maybe this new Top 7 vs the rest of `em in the Premier League has helped).

I suspect abc on a shopping spree would choose Waitrose Finest Museli for his breakfast (who wouldn`t!?) but alas, especially against the non Top 7 away from home, we have been served, mostly, Aldi own-brand porridge.

Home form has been excellent and the passion and drive is what has stood out in most games. Away, that has been missing barring 4 or 5 games. This, I believe is down to the rigidity of Dyche`s framework. I suspect Dyche believe that if we avoid a spanking on the road, our home form will carry us through (it appears it has).

We do need to mix it up (we don`t have the pool of talent the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham have to on most occasions stick with their preferred 4-2-3-1. WE NEED some penetration down the flank to stretch teams `better` teams. Gudmundsson`s absence has been HUGE. He was really growing into our positive outlet which allowed Boyd to keep his shape. Without Gudmundsson we`ve had nothing going forward.

In the end though, Kudos to Dyche...it is a brilliant acheivement but top mangers see the chinks in their armour and attempt to rectify them.

Next season a 4-4-2 at home and some variance on 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 away. I hope we keep hold of Gray as I believe IF we play to his strengths (which we don`t for the most part) he can be a big part of our team. Just an opinion! Up the Clarets!!!!!!

Hardly anything positive to say all season, doesn't attend games although he claims - far too many times to be convincing and with no evidence whatsoever - he owns a season ticket.

Royboy just cleared it all up, the only thing he got wrong was that I don't attend now. Which he presumed based on the fact he hasn't seen my dead Granddad attend for a few years. Where is the evidence you or anyone else on this forum, attends? If there is no evidence either way then I'm not sure how you can say I'm lying. Yet again, showing your lack of intelligence. I've told you multiple times, I don't touch alcohol yet you keep banging the same drum about me being an alcoholic. Strange which kinda sums you and your obsession up. I think you will find its the other way round, Eddie begged me for months to meet him then didn't show up when agreed but still bored me too death on here about whether I attend or not. Personally I don't care who attends or not but its boring and annoying when I show up to "prove I attend" yet he doesn't show up and still claims I don't attend.

As poor as our away form has been it's worth mentioning that we have prevented 3 relegation rivals from taking points from us at crucial points in the season. Had we been in a position where we needed to win those games more than our opposition then we may well have seen a different approach and a more fruitful outcome.
