Do what even have the players to play a 3 man defence?
More likely Flanagan will get the nod for ward.

Sincerely hope Mee & Ward are fit. Tarks seems the obvious replacement for Mee. If Ward is not fit, I'd consider playing JBG at left back or Long.

I'd have though Flanagan would be straight in at LB, or Brady even with Arfield/Defour at LM again.Belgianclaret wrote:Sincerely hope Mee & Ward are fit. Tarks seems the obvious replacement for Mee. If Ward is not fit, I'd consider playing JBG at left back or Long.

Just what we need with Zaha and Townsend switching wings throughout the game. Benteke will be licking his lips waiting for the crosses against an untried central defensive pairing and the midfield will be a bunch of strangers!

Flanagan's bloody awful.
Re: ARTICLE: Defenders are doubts for Palace
But then again Barnes, Gray & Vokes will be up against Delaney who would have made Leon Cort look like a world beater in the game we won 3-2.IWOODLOVETT wrote:Just what we need with Zaha and Townsend switching wings throughout the game. Fear not!

Re: ARTICLE: Defenders are doubts for Palace
Worst case scenario we start Tarky in the middle and Brady on the left. There's no need for Flanagan to get anywhere near the team.
Heaton
Lowton Keane Tarky Brady
Westwood Defour
Boyd Hendrick JBG
Gray

Has to be Brady, Flanagan is nowhere near good enough.

It'll be a tough game even with Mee and Ward, fingers (legs etc) crossed both are fit.
Tarks and Brady if both are out I suspect.

JBG or alternatively Brady for me: we certainly need some pace on the flanks or we'll get slaughtered.
Flanagan doesn't cut the mustard for me
