I'd missed it but he was released by Mansfield last Wednesday

Harsh. Good servant to the club deserves more respect than that.KRBFC wrote:At least he has now found his level

Re: ARTICLE: Beast moves to Northern Ireland
Great servant for the club.
One good season.
Multiple transfer requests.
Saw off supposedly better keepers.
That performance against Reading alone.
Lack of testimonial.
Fake injury against Porstmouth.
That should pretty much sum up what is to follow on this thread

Re: ARTICLE: Beast moves to Northern Ireland
You left that Wigan one off the list, in the PL outside the box...
Re: ARTICLE: Beast moves to Northern Ireland
Is it just me who thinks he looks fitter in this Crusaders photo than he ever did for Burnley!! He looks to have lost a bit of timber.

Can't believe anyone would think that he'd be no worse than Robinson.Down_Rover wrote:Would have been no worse cover than Paul Robinson

Personally loved the guy for 08/09 but he had me tearing my hair out at times.

Re: ARTICLE: Beast moves to Northern Ireland
One of the nicest guys ever to don a Burnley shirt,I once asked him via Twitter I think it was if he could give me a shirt,he said of course,we arranged to met before a game,,last game of a season it was, unfortunately I didn't make the game,no worries the Beast asked me my address and duly posted the shirt to me,signed personally to me,don't think you would get many of today's mega earning mega stars doing that for a supporter these days.

Will go down as a cult hero but let's not get silly with the Robinson comparison.
Re: ARTICLE: Beast moves to Northern Ireland
He plays on and on and on. Good for him.
